Welcome to new lounge. Bigger bar, new recliners and thought it would be nice to have a juke box. To celebrate I opened up a bottle of Henry McKenna single barrel bottled in bond bourbon. Fridge is stocked with a nice assortment of beers and there bottles of red and white out too.

Good morning everyone.
Mark, thanks for the coffee and muffin.
Had some light frost here last night. Going to be mostly sunny and a high in the low 60's.
Grocery shopping and meal prep this morning. Then some errands and the usual chores.
Got awarded my daytime job again last night. I start that on Sunday. Hopefully I can hang onto to it through rollover.
Have a great day everyone.
PS Almost forgot. I've got to post a 'Tales from the Trains' later.

Some sun and a bit warmer than yesterday today is the weather forecast we have. Cooler again the next several, may get the mower out and finish what I started yesterday afternoon.
I’ll be off to ops tomorrow at Bruce Chubb’s, it’s be a month plus since my last visit there.
Enjoy days, Rick. Everyone have a fine weekend.

Nice to see the lounge so full.
Jerry, I just had to porters with diner but I think I can handle some bourbon too.
OK, here's todays 'tales from the Trains'
This happened this past Tuesday. I was talking with another conductor on the platform in Trenton waiting for our train to leave. Then we start hearing a commotion down the platform. We couldn't see what was happening because there's an office and a waiting room that separates tracks 1 and 2. Then we saw a woman legs, who was laying on the ground, come into view. We both ran towards her and she told us that someone had just stolen her purse. She quickly told us the guy was wearing a gray hoodie. The other conductor ran down the track 2 side and I ran down the track 1 side. We got to the waiting and saw a guy sitting there wearing a gray hoodie. A couple of seconds later the woman catches up to me and I ask her if that's the guy. She says it is. I see a purse sitting on a bench in the middle of the room and this guy is sitting at the end of the room. I ask her if that's her purse and she again says yes. I tell her to go in and get her purse and I stand between her and the thief. We both leave the waiting room and I see another one of our conductors on the platform. I quickly tell him what happened and ask him to keep an eye on the guy while I go upstairs and get the cops. When they came down they questioned the woman and the the thief and put him in cuffs. We got on our train and headed to NY. It's always interesting on the rails.
