I am getting this error message.

Request object error 'ASP 0104 : 80004005'

Operation not Allowed

/forum/outputFile.asp, line 13

Anyone know why this is coming up. Here are the properties for the JPEG I am trying to upload.

Size 815 KB
Image dimensions 2550 x3507
Resolution 300 dpi

I tried to follow the thread on uploading images with several photos, but I keep getting this message.
Thanks in advance,
Rob

Hi Rob,

The photo is too big, the long side can only be 800 pixels at medium resolution. Thats why I post photos on my server and link to them.

Take care,
Rob.

Rob, your file is 8 X too big. Keep it at or just below 100 KB and it'll post. Nothing higher than 72 pixel resolution will show up on anyone's monitor (even your own), so there is one way to get your file size down. Then crop it to about 800 X 640 pixels, and it should be fine.

Do NOT post links to photos on another server/web site. When that web site goes down, and eventually it will, all those photos will be lost and the thread becomes useless.
I use Irfan View to resize my photos when uploading. Works perfectly.

Hi Dave,

I didn't realize that I was breaking the rules of this forum by linking to graphics on my server. A maximum of 800-wide pixel width is just too restrictive to see details on my track plans.

Take care,
Rob.
