Howdy folks.
Train room clean, check!
Can get at parts, check!
Decoders installed in 2 engines, check!
Three sound decoders from a collection I bought identified and working after adding connectors and reprogramming, check!
One dead shay sound decoder from a collection brought back to life by tracking the circuits and adding a little solder, check!
Now to figure out the next four engines that deserve sound and detailing.
I'm back...

Larry,
CHECK

Like you I have gotten out of the funk from convention, retirement and junk pile I called my work surface. Sounds good on the decoders I have to work on that too.

Hello out there, I hear an echo.... is everyone still asleep from watching the news. I fully restocked the bar as I figured that was in order no matter what side people were on. No comments on politics please.

In the best laid plans department the boss injured her knee so I have had to suspend hanging the OSB in the train room - can't hold up a 2x8 panel and put in screws too.

On a happier note the Marine Corps birthday is tomorrow so I may head down to the VFW for a toast or two. Temper Fi SGT Uffelman

Good Evening all,
Its chilly here, been gray and rainy here today. I did some work on my Geezer project, and some printing for Heath today. Pleased that the printer is working well with predictable results.

The Whaleback project will get some more work to fit on the 4-6-0 tender base, then printed again.

Tomorrow I will print some more and paint on the Geezer project.

You all have a good day, enjoy the fall days too.

Les

It is 7:00 am Friday in Ipswich in sunny Queensland. Expected to be another hot day with temperatures up around 37 degrees C and gusty storms expected later in the day.
I had promised to post more frequently but am ashamed to say I haven't kept my promise .
I have been working out how long I feel I can work before I retire (I could retire now). At present when I take leave I end up working for work and not really enjoying myself. Don't manage to find any time to work on the layout. My manager keeps phoning wanting to know if she has written the right wording for something to do with railways.
I have prepared some eggs and bacon with hash browns and toast for breakfast as well as fresh coffee. There is also hot water available for those who prefer tea.
Best Regards

Jerry, thanks for the sip.

I think I know what I will do for my Geezer challenge. It will take some time to finish.
