Good morning. Coffee is brewing. Been down for a couple of days with the lower back, must be the abrupt weather changes and old age. Feeling better this am.

Fixing some new ME turnouts this morning. Points need bent to line up correctly. Also in hindsight I should have listened and used Litco!

What are you into?

'morning all! Made it back from Portland. The train show was disappointing but I guess the Puyallup show stole everybody the week prior. Still, got to jaw with Rick and Maureen Hunter of Hunterline products. Ended up getting some of their custom wood dyes. We will see how that goes.
Cheers,
Dave

On30 still has followers and kit makers at the Springfield show last weekend. Jeff Grove of Carolina Craftsman Kits has a number of kits for On30 now. Unique designs and good prices. http://carolinacraftsmankits.com/t/o-scale-kits

Anyone hear from Tom lately? Haven't seen a post here for awhile.

Sun is out, melting yesterday's snow. Guess I need to help it along a bit with a shovel.

Sun is out but it's chilly (for Vancouver). Threatening rain and snow flurries for later in the week. My bride is working tonight so the winds are favourable for hanging out at the hobby table!
Dave, those kits look cool - have you built any?
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Everyone - Please join me with a fresh cup of coffee I have just brewed or there is hot water available if you prefer tea. I have been away at meetings at the head office Museum in Brisbane these past couple of days so had not really had a chance to make one of my early morning posts. It is 6:45 am Friday here in a very hot and sunny Ipswich. The high temperatures are expected to continue for at least another week.
I start a week's leave today and plan to start tidying up the T-Shed (Train Shed) as the Tuesday Nighters are coming over in a fortnight so I need to show I am doing something .
My wife, Pauline, has just gone away on another cruise so Raymond and I are "batching" next week. I am wanting (hoping) to make a start on one of the many building kits I have on my workbench but the way other jobs are starting to pile up it may be just a "thought bubble" on my part.
Best Regards

Glad to hear you are home again, Mark. Most days it seems like you are the one keeping the lounge open. Thanks for that.

Thanks, David for the coffee! I am jealous of your summer while I watch snow fall in my driveway.
Mark, glad to hear that all is well and you're back home.
I'm off to a motorcycle trip-planning evening tonight at a friend's place. Even though I won't be able to participate in most of the trips (can't take off during prime selling season) it will be a nice respite.
Cheers, all.
Dave

Coffee is on. Baked goods on the counter. Headed to Timonium show in a bit followed by a two foot modelers get together in the afternoon.

Have a good day.
