It is nice to know that the entire world isn't ice covered and slippery, some days it seems like that's the case. This link will show you what the weather looks like in Calumet Michigan where my nephew lives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vh6KoXyj38 Not much snow here, but plenty of cold. I'm hoping to get some bench time in this evening. Take care..

Good evening all, I enjoyed watching the 1957 Jimmy Stewart-Audie Murphy Western "Night Passage" featuring the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad K-28 Class steam locomotive #476 and the scenery of the Durango and Silverton. I think that I will have to purchase a DVD of that one for my collection. I have been working on the Wild West Models "Don's Dry Goods" but construction is on hold pending the arrival of the window glass (microscope slides) from St. Louis. When completed this building will be a Saloon/Gambling hall. I've left some crackers and cheese along with some Michigan Microbrews for the night shift and banked the fire for the night.

Tea is steeping. Some Hobnobs for snacking. I am settling in to build some turnout controls.
Cheers,

I've email Micro engineering and Micro mark, hopefully they will respond to the turnout issue. Seems to be a serious QA problem with the manufacturer.

Rain started in earnest last night; coupled with frozen drains, it could make for some interesting water issues. Hopefully the warmer temperatures and the rain will melt everything faster than it backs up. Looks like I'm first in so bagels, cream cheese, and coffee are on the counter. Enjoy!
Cheers,
dave

Good morning. Thanks for getting the coffee brewed up, I need all I can get this morning. It's a bit rainy here today also so maybe I can work on the layout, although, I have a bucket full of honey-does that probably won't get done! Have a good day.

Still raining here in coastal BC but snow almost all gone in the lower mainland. Started to figure out the size and configuration of my wharf and built a couple more turnout controls last night.
Have a great day, all!
Cheers,
Dave
