I like the river boat/port idea. Steamboats showed up in surprising places. Not only on the Colorado and Lake Tahoe but even Mono Lake had one for a while. Vern would of like seeing this too, I think.

This would make a great scene...and I bet is typical of a riverboat landing at a lot of stops...they'd likely load up with wood too....

Today I started roughing in the far riverbank with EPF. The white cardstock shape at center marks the footprint of a 50' paddle steamer.

Thanks guys! I'm having a lot of fun. Today I started roughing in the scenery in Balancing Rock Canyon. When complete, the teetering rocks will move and there will be a couple more in front of the near track.
