Thanks Jerry. I'll probably make around 20. I've finished 6 today (picture below). if I put my mind to it they go pretty quickly but it is a bit repetitious.

As always, appreciate the feedback. This project is a great example of how my modeling can improve through your suggestions.

The forrest continues to expand and the pictures below include 12 trees. I've also included a shot next to an engine to give an idea of the height of the trees.

I'll probably make about 10 more than move on to the next project which will also be scenery. I'll start to add to the area between the track and the backdrop.

Now that's starting to look like a really nice scene.

Love those trees.

Dave,

Fantastic. That's as good as I've seen anybody do in modeling a particular species of tree. I am really impressed.

Most people tend to make trees that are too short but yours tower over the trains as they should, nice work!

Fine looking pine trees, Dave. When I look out the back window, they look just like our pines.

Last pictures of trees. Made a total of 22 and then added some static grass as the flooring. Will now expand the scenery to fill in the rest of the layout backdrop.

Thanks guys.

Have started painting some details on the backdrop. My layout is close to eye level so the horizon line is very low.
