Anyone need some free help designing a layout? I have quite a few years experience working with 3rd PlanIt and I am willing to help draft up some of your ideas.

Hi Kevin, Great! Let's get started. Please tell me more about what you have in mind, your scale and the size of you space. We will go from there. Take care, Rob.

I think I might need to ask for your help Rob, I'm not happy with my current layout design.

Hi Ross,

More than willing to help, if I can. You can either start a new thread for your design and I will chime in, or PM and we can do it via email.

Take care,
Rob.

I would much rather do it online. There are so many people with great design ideas on here that it makes for the best final plan in the end. Just look at all the input you had on your layout.

Rob,
I would not mind a little free advice.
My thoughts are on page five of this thread. http://www.railroad-line.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=35347
The only part of the RR I have benchwork in is the right hand side with the upper eight feet with track down.
The modules do not need to be part of the RR they will be sold off or put in the garage.
I do want a town with tracks down the ferret of a dirt street and a couple of mines.
Feel free to post away in my thread or I can start a new thread, let me know if you are willing to help me.
BTW the RR is to be set in the Yukon 1942.

I'm reading your thread now Larry and I'm up to page 6. I actually liked what you have done so far, since I like keeping things simple when planning. One of my projects involves trying to stuff an On30 layout in a 10 1/2' x 12 1/2' bedroom as well.

Hello Robert,

I would be interested in some planning. I built bench work and my dimensions are 2' wide by 12'6" long, 2'x2' center section then a 2' wide by 8' long leg. I was trying to go after a modified Kalmbach/Model Railroader "Pike City Belt Line" but am at a loss at where to start.
