Today is also "Perihelion Day". We're only 91,400,005 miles from the sun. Now doesn't that make you feel warmer.

Pete, good catch. Unfortunately I missed it.

Andy, ?

Scott, unfortunately I don't feel warmer. I'm sure Mario does though.

George, come on, you've seen the trivia game thread. Way more useless info there.

Rick, you obviously have way too much time on your hands!

As for Andy's response, I think everytime Andy sees a thread from you, he is thinking of this...

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Nick, I've been waiting for a certain smart alecky Brit to bring that up.

Happy New Year to you as well.

Now you've done Mark. You've got the whole lounge focused on the neighbor again.
Wait till Tim reads this thread.

OK Andy, I get it now.

My Gawd I love those jeans. That other stuff you guys are talking about is just a reason to show Ricks neighbor.

Rick, you need to get more rest.

Frederic, I figured I'd hear from you as well.
Maybe after you Europeans convert from the antiquated metric system to the United States customary system, you can start work on getting your dates turned about the right way too.

Tim, I'll get plenty of rest when I take my dirt nap.

Awwwww Rick, I can't believe that little neighbor girl didn't get new jeans and a new blouse for Christmas. By summer those jeans will have unraveled clear up to the pockets and the shirt will have shrunk to were it looks like its painted on. Poor little thing.

Now then , young Richard , how on earth can it be more logical to put the month before the day and then the year ? As I said , you've got it all arse about face .
I suspect this is about the only thing us Brits agree with the Froggies . We are bilingual when it comes to metric and imperial, with more emphasis on the imperial, inspite of the faceless beaurocrats in Brussels trying to get us to ditch it . Next they'll have us driving on the wrong side of the road !

Good to see your neighbour is still around , I bet you are forever running out of sugar .

Nick
