Nice stumps. Looks like the bench is ready for some serious modeling again.

Frederic - How 'bout a short tutorial on the
stumps? What did you use? Or, did I miss
something again?......

Frederic, when most people have a great idea only one light goes on over their head.
Now when you have one while working at your bench you will have three of them over your head.
Don't know where to use these great looking stumps? Does this make them stumping stumps?

Frederic,
Do we all sense that modeling season is upon us? you with a clean table, new lights, renewed vigor...yeah.

I too like the stumps, you can never have too many of them. I am not sure Stumps have scale...so those should jus fit anywhere. I have some resin castings of similar nature, got them from 1/35 scale military stuff, primed, and stained they look spectacular.

Yes, my friends, I'll make another stump soon and shoot the various steps of the stump.
Greg, I've even added a fourth light to avoid losing any idea. I had first changed fluo-compacts for halogens due to the possible issue with magnetic fields, but it was getting too hot and I switched to four LEDs. Well lit, no heat.
I was stumped too by your stumping assertion, Greg, but the dictionnary unstumped me. In any case, before I log to post on dogs that hold logs, I'll try to keep a log of what I got...

Well Geezer, the modeling room of mr. Testard seems rather deserted... I think he has lost his modeling soul to maths, house decorating and child raising... One day hopefully he'll dust off the cobwebs and continue his beautiful project

Just might be that the Transatlantic phone interview with Scotty went to his head.
But I doubt that.

I've been VERY busy with maths and programming recently (and will still be for a while). That explains my unusual quietness...
The only progress I've made recently consisted in working on two tree armatures 'a la Jos' (scotchpine), receiving some fine products from Martin, and tidying the modelling room, which indeed looks more deserted now than a few days ago, but in a positive way.
The Transatlantic phone went nowhere, Dave, but for sure was a rather daunting experience... I haven't had the time to listen the podcast so I can't say how it looks (or rather, sounds)...

Now Frédéric, you have to get your priorities right!! Math over modeling... how ghastly!

That is the entire question.....;-)

Slowly getting back to modelling in this very mathematical fall... Although it's still rather modest, something has been done.
