Hi all, here are some minor updates:

I continue to get emails from people who have discovered our quest and are interested in helping us. This is great news. This also implies that once we get started, and our mission gets advertised, more people may come out to help.

I continue to try to make contact with the President of the MHS. She is a busy person, but she knows I have been trying to contact her, so I expect to hear back from her soon.

I heard back from the NRHS regarding non-profit status. Each branch is required to obtain their own non-profit 501(c)3 status. Although this changes things, a little, I still think obtaining NRHS Branch status helps our cause, gives us more credibility, and will open more doors for our goals.

I spoke to Mary C, she will probably be at Allaire State Park on Sept 11-12. I plan to be there on the 12th.

If we don't meet up at the MHS, lets plan to meet at Allaire on Sept 12?

Oh great. My wife just pointed out that we are leaving Friday night or early Saturday morning the 12th for South Carolina for a week. We planned this a year ago forgetting about RR Days.
Really sorry I won't be there.
Please let me know if you meet with MHS, I really want to be there.
Lou

Peeved? Why?

What happened?

Very surprising as I thought she was a pillar of RRRR support.

Thanks J.J. I am sure we will need you soon.

Guys, lets not discuss Mary C's concerns here on this forum. If someone really wants to know what her issues are, they can contact me directly. Or call her and ask her. Either way, lets please respect her concerns. Thanks!

I have a "Pool Party" to go to on the 11th. Thats why I can't commit to that date, and it needs to be the 12th for me. Lets all try for the 12th and see if we can make it work.

Tom,
I'm in with you for the 9/21 meeting. Unfortunately I just committed my Tuesday nights to another organization but in this case I'll make an exception. Let's get this project rolling!
