Nice looking car, George, I'm looking forward to running it on the layout. We'll do some neat photos for you.

Tom,

Your LNE car looks like it's been broken-in really well, . .nice weathering. I will try to find some companions for it to run with. Looking forward to its arrival in our yard.

Well, I forgot that the brake details would restrict the rotation of the trucks. (Russ, you forgot to mention this when you planted the seed in my brain.)

Yeah, sure, it's always MY fault!!

I've built a couple of kits with brake details on the bottom, but I forgot about the restricted truck rotation. I think I'm supposed to learn from my mistakes, not relearn from them.

I think that I'm going to have to get the backshop guys to work two extra shifts in order to the get cars ready on time.

Hey, I just realized that all these great cars will cycle through my layout over the next year.

Even though I don't have a layout, I'll arrange for some publicity photo opps!

I received Eddie Landreth's boxcar today and it looks every bit as good as the picture he posted. I'll be posting some pictures of it running on our club layout in a few days.
