Good morning crew from 'still raining' N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Engine Black blend this day. Luftwaffles and Canadian Bacon are up on the serving line.
The Preiser table and chairs finally arrived yesterday, so I spent bench time on that project. Geez, those chairs are a chore to grip and place them in the spot you want. I'm almost done with it and just weathering the exterior should finish it off.
Have a Super day!

Jim and all,
Take a look at the captive spring hook from Jonard for holding small items. https://www.arrow.com/en/products/m-145/jonard-tools. I have one I've used for over 30 years and it fits the bill for such things. Arrow had the best price I could find online.

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is sunny and 79 degrees here on the Gulf coast of Florida.
More work on the new clinics today. Last night I grilled up some brats for dinner. Tonight we will eat at the Club House. That will be our first time there.
Good luck at the Doc's Walt.
Enjoy the day!

Good morning from one county south of Dave, NH. After taking my new 10-y-o to school, we're doing inside jobs and avoiding the 1C/34F srizzle.
He also did a bunch of carving on retaining walls last night. Now we have to work out how to do abutments for the road overpass. Meanwhile, I'm cleaning up incomplete projects.

Good morning Crew from ice covered So. Wisconsin. The main roads now are ok per the television but another 1/3” coming by noon. Most schools are delayed or closed. Another cave day.
I cleaned the iced driveway yesterday and almost used a 5 gallon pail of ice melt, just in time for the rain/ice storm of last night. Like during last week’s polar vortex I will feed the horses and run trains. A tough life.
Jim thanks for opening, no breakfast for me.

We got a bit of slushy snow last night, it's melted off the treated roads but the yard is back to a thin snow covering. Last night I ordered a kit to start work on the mill buildings behind the stone viaduct. I'm planning mills on both sides of the creek that flows towards the back corner.

Yesterday’s icy mess has yielded to today’s rain and a wavering line between rain and ice. It’s 32 degrees and raining.
I worked on the railroad some yesterday, replenished the ice melt and cleared the ice outside.
No big news nor plans today.
Everyone have a safe day.

Good morning, Jim and the rest of the crew. It feels like spring in Tidewater Virginia - it's in the 60's!
I know what you mean about those tables and chairs, Jim. Been there done that.
I'm heading out for a bike ride. I hope to get some bench time this afternoon assembling some hopper car kits.
Have a good day.

Good raining morning Jim. Flood watches out in this area. I'll have a cup of your tea with my Oatmeal. Loaded up on Voortman wafers yesterday so Second Breakfast is back on today.
Went in to see my Internist yesterday for my yearly check up. Appointment was at 11. I go in today again at 11 to see the Oncologist. I was starting to wonder about both visits scheduled at the "ELEVENTH HOUR" and if that was a bad oman. Fr Ted, our pastor, was at the Knights business meeting last night so I asked him about it. [grin] He said I had it wrong. 11AM is not the eleventh hour, 11PM is. Oh well, thought I had a good joke in there anyway.
As I said, I go in to the Oncologist this morning to find out if I do or don't have active cancer. I've lived with MGUS the precursor to Multiple Myloma for 10 years or so. No symptoms from this as it's a marker found in the blood. Anyway that reading on that marker has gone up 33% which isn't a good direction. The oncologist I went to a month ago who did extensive new blood tests won't give or tell me the results after numerous requests so I'm changing doctors. Just want to know one way or the other.
Hopefully there is no need to lay the keel of an ark today. everyone have a FUN and DRY day in the Wet Train Yard.
