As others have said before me, the groundcover looks really nice. As well as the placement of your excellent weathered details.
Perhaps you can either have an outside toilet or a tool shed to cover the battery box..

Great modeling Larry C., Ithink you should (if I might) build a really cool looking 3-holer outhouse to cover the battery box. Think of it ......the granddaddy of all outdoor crappers !!!! and it's right there in YOUR model........you might even consider a 2 story outhouse ??????????? well...maybe not . Anyways, the modeling is excellent and I need to check in more often so as to check out you fine work.......

OK, Larry, using Kyle's idea of a 2 story outhouse, why not make a 2 story outhouse on one side and a roof over the tool shed as the rest of the building, joined together ?
That would make a really unique, one-of-a kind building. You could use the higher top of the 2nd story outhouse as the "handle" to lift the outhouse/toolshed off its foundation. LOL

on the finishing touches in a few days. Also I'm realizing I'm running out of room quickly.

Yesterday was a very productive day at the bench so here's the results:
Here is the shed which covers the battery box. It was built with the usual 6x6's for the frame and colored, weathered 1x10's using
chalks. The usual siding received some holes and splits along with nail holes. It was built just wide enough to go over the battery box
and long enough to cover where the wires exit the foam. The door was built in place with hinges added along with a door handle from
a cut down staple which was blackened. Also added a couple of signs
This is a overhead view showing the tarpaper which was glued on in a patch style with the top piece actually torn and added
some scrap 1x10 showing the roof boards.
This is the back of the garage with some junk around and some scrap lumber tossed about. The crate, oil drum, etc are all
from Sierra West colored and weathered with chalks. You'll notice the cement block sitting on top of the oil drum. Placed
a sign on the side of the shed to look like it was falling down. Also continued with the ground cover same as the rest of the
diorama. There is just enough room for a LP to squeeze between the shed and the garage door.
