Thanks Larry, wasn't trying to tie-up your thread here, just offering an alternative method of my madness, LOL.
Wiring isn't my forte, and with that, I use these battery boxes vs real wiring. May be one of the reasons why I have yet to start a layout after seeing all
the wiring necessary under most of them.At least for lighting, I would probably just drill a hole through the shelf, and mount the box underneath.

Great little scene Larry. I really like all the details, especially in the pigeon holes on the bench.
And a nice fix for the lighting. If you buy more LEDS, get the warm white ones.

Just to prove that I haven't been totally goofing off, here's an update:
Even though this isn't earth shaking, it is very time consuming but the end result is well worth the effort in my opinion.
The shingles are cut from 1x10's which were colored, cut, and weathered. The ridge cap is made from 1x4's given the same treatment
as the shingles.
Here is the top view of the roof. The color I made a little different from the siding so as not to match the rest of the building.
Next will be to fix and add trim at the cable ends and also I need to fill in the area over the shed where the rafter extends.

Larry,
Very nice shingling job. You sort of downplay the value of what you've just done, but after all, the roof on any structure does not go unnoticed. It can make or break a model. In the real world the roof will look a little different in color from the walls if only because it faces the sky.
Excellent workmanship.
