Good morning crew, readers, and lurkers from 68f -> 80f and Sunny N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Boilermaker blend. The special is Biscuits and black peppered gravy. The smoothie machine is operational, Oatmeal pot is loaded. All drinks are at the end of the serving line.

Well the R&R day yesterday went well. I replaced the spring on the overhead door for the shop, and it is working as it should. Then I Polyurethaned the outdoor wagon planter we bought at Northern tool (not taking her there again ) . After that I sawzalled about an hour on the fallen branches in the yard. By 1500 I was done with the R&R health club.

I'll finally get to check out the Cardiac rehab today. I'd like to show them what I did yesterday for normal activities. I slept very well last night.

This morning a COSTCO trip to pick up a few things, and be back in time for my appointment. MAYBE some bench time this afternoon.

Gas is now $5.59, Stock market diving, interest rates up. The dog and pony show continues. Try to have a Super day!

Good morning all! 80 on the way to 89 with a thunderstorm just moving in here. It appears the worst of the current heatwave is behind us.

Have to go out to the range this morning and do my yearly qualification for my retired officers concealed carry permit. I like to have the permit even though I rarely actually carry my sidearm. Just good to know I can if I want to. I'm not allowed to carry at my current job. I could most everyplace else but just don't usually do it.

Ready to get today done and be off for a three-day weekend. Been an exhausting week so I'm ready for a few days off. Hope you all have a great day!

I recert yearly in September. Our Dept is very supportive of the LEOSA permit and provides the range, range officer and even ammo for us. I also exercise my right to carry sparingly but modern times seem to give more times to be comfortable at doing so. I try not to frequent establishments that don’t want folks to carry. Even if I’m not at the time.

Good morning, Jim, Ken and crew. Tidewater Virginia is going to be in the 90's today, but we're looking at the 70's for the weekend.

We're going to Lake Anna for the weekend. We're having a Father's Day gathering at my son's house. Like you, Jim, we're going to Costco this morning to pick up some things for the weekend.

    Have a good day.

Coffee and an everything bagel and that need is met for the moment. Storms yesterday were again an overblown prediction; going up to mid/upper 90's today. Listening to my wrens on the deck makes the cool morning even better before we have to button up the house for A/C.

Costco yesterday was usual zoo and combination of great deals on food and then the totally absurd side by side, but I gt my exercise walking through that warehouse, and then the loading and uploading, and sorting at the home front. I swore off my crate of Oreo cookies....

Shop time working on projects today and reading. The low back is still not right........

      So it goes....

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is 68 and heading to 78 under sunny skies today. The high temps will have dropped by 10 degrees as compared to the past 2 days. I'll take it!

Today's plan is to de-moss the patio. Over the past two years, the moss has really taken over the spaces between the pavers. We will see if Scott's Moss-EX really works.

Maybe some modeling this afternoon. I will also post the third and final installment of the Roundhouse Tank Engine Build on my YouTube Channel.

        Have a great day!

Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge as usual Jim. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

Back to 70 degree weather, and cloudy here in Rhode Island at the moment. Not going to get much warmer they say. I hope this isn't a sign of our summer this year. Going back and forth with warm and cold with rain in-between.

Not sure what today will bring yet. I'll have to play it by ear like I did yesterday. Nothing happened yesterday but an LED install into my project.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Sun and lower temp and humids with a little breeze. Nice weekend on tap here before heading back to 90s by the first of the week. Hopefully it won’t be too warm in NorComm…(Northern Command) will be our TDY for a week or so going Monday. Orange eggs all over will make travel an adventure, Grinch and Brandon show makes for happy campers-NOT!

Tree trimmings to clean up and such today. Great sale on at Lowes for Dewalt battery tools. Bare tool,$50 off and ~$100 battery free. Picked up the recip. Saw I’d needed for the cottage and spare battery for saws here at home. Ordered online while leaving Chartucky and picked it up at Lowes in West Lansing by the time we got there. Danny built our whole place with Dewalt tools and they’ve impressed me. I love the chainsaw.

            Gotta roll, everyone stay safe.

Morning Jim and in coming crew. Sunny and a high of 75 today after a stormy afternoon yesterday at the River. Wife's niece is up for the weekend.

I've established a small workbench at the cottage, it's actually a computer hutch turned modeling bench. Spent last night trying figuring out how to send pictures to the forum using my cell phone. No joy. Wound up sending the pictures via e-mail to my website.

Here's the new setup so I can work on modeling while at the River.

I'm working on installing glass in the engine house windows. Hope to have this project done by Labor Day.

Amazing I was able to do all this posting using my cell phone as a hot spot.

              Have a great day everybody.

Good morning. Feeling better today so like the Jackass I can be I decided to cut the grass. Ok tried. Even on a tractor I have no strength and quit after maybe 20 minutes. I am on the deck catching my breath and relaxing the bone weary body. Covid sucks.

Terry is on the way home. She misses me! Not really she feels I need better nursing and after today’s cutting nonadventure I can’t argue.

Karl, enjoy Northern Command. Yes, I heard or read somewhere those orange things are a left wing plot. Lol… be safe!

Ken, I have the permits and I carry now about 75% of the time, ankle holster. I live in a very liberal county where most businesses as is their right have no guns allowed signs. I do wonder how many ignore those signs. We have lock boxes in a couple of the vehicles

                Bernd, nice away space.

Jim, just take it easy in this heat. You are still recovering, remember!

To all, have a great day
