  • Sunday brunch lounge

Good morning crew, readers, and lurkers. It's 65f, cloudy, and buggy in N.E. Indiana. The coffee is READY with Railbender blend in ''to go' cups. The van is ready to head over to "The Greek's". If you are staying behind, there is some cold leftover pizza in the fridge.

The rain continues, and has put a damper on any outside work. Yaah! So it looks more reading and drawing after the brunch meeting. I took a 'new' pill for my back, and slept like a rock. Maybe a half pill would have been enough.

Karl is honking the crew van horn, time to go.

    Have a Super day!

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. We had rain again over night, so everything is wet once again. We will have a mix of sun and clouds today with a high temp in the mid-70's.

My plans for the day are a blend of reading, computer work, and some modeling.

    Have a great day!

Good morning. Thank you for the coffee, Jim.

It's a beautiful sunny day in northern WV but that will change later. We'd better get out walking promptly today.

Yesterday we headed for a brewery about an hour away in the next door county, stopping at a small but quality garden center. I have a new shrub needing to be put in the ground. We donated to the animal shelter for a discount on our tab. Lots of dogs were there and they brought their owners. It was a beautiful, cool day and everything was outdoors; a Dixie jazz band played and we talked to one member of the group on one of their breaks. The clarinettist was especially good.

I did work on my N-scale barn before we left. After we got home I got our portable fire pit out, we fired it up, and we watched the flames and talked about what a nice day we'd had.

      Have a good one!

      Mike

Good morning Jim, Bruce, Mike, Karl, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jim. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

70 and sunny here in Rhode Island at the moment. We are going to see rain again by noon I guess from what I'm hearing.

The new Critter project in the logging and mining section is going along quite well now for those interested. Thanks all for your comments on that.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Yesterday was rain and dreary, but we held our Div. AP Cars workshop part 2 yesterday anyway; solid handful of participants building and generally having a good time; one attendee's layout was open after lunch for a visit so an overall good day. Fri. was at the Harrisburg O Narrow meet; great day to be out and about, and it was a nice size show with good attendance and tables full of goodies.....picked up a few little things (consumables in the shop).

Today it's more rain and dreary.......so it's a home office day. Plan is to clear the desks (again....) and grind through the procrastination pile to make it go away.

But, 1st......another cup of coffee......and maybe a bit of bacon......and then fold the laundry......and then maybe whitewash the back fence........and then re-align the sock drawer to magnetic north......

            So it goes....

Good morning, Jim and crew. We've been out for breakfast and a walk. We walked a nature trail we hadn't been on in close to a year. The only wildlife we saw were squirrels and a 4' long black snake. The area is full of earthworks from the Civil War's Peninsula Campaign and nice and shaded, so it was a nice change of scenery.

It's overcast and headed to the mid 80's, so it looks like I have a deck to power wash. Maybe some bench time after I recover (nap).

              Have a good day.
