Good afternoon, all. The NH seacoast has warmed up to the 70s and even the latest-leafing trees are fully green. The turkey chicks are big enough to fly up to the perch and I'm going to be stacking more hay Tuesday, just before the kid's Middle School State Track Meet. No modeling yet today, though I have spent a while updating documents for my B&M web site.

Morning all......barely
Hang in there Jim and take care.
93 in west Texas on its way to 99. Two days of good soaking rains and now two days of sunshine. The grass has shot up 6 inches.
I have some "real" work to do for a couple of customers. I am going to have to tell them I need a break for about 6 weeks when I'm done. At age 74 I am still able to work and the "extra" money comes in handy for hobby expenses and gas and groceries, etc.
I was able to finish all the bench work for my staging area about a week ago before work started. I have some pics I will post when time permits. I also have several other irons in the fire that need to be finished.
A great day to everyone.
John

Good afternoon, Jim and crew. It's a beautiful day in Tidewater, Virginia. We're supposed to hit 80°.
I cut the grass this morning and managed to get some time in at the workbench. I might watch some NASCAR this afternoon. I haven't been following very closely this year.
Have a good day.

Glad you made it through Lightfoot’s Shooting Range OK, Jim.
Gotta love it. I refer to Lightfoot as "Lightheaded"

Good morning. It's a sunny 70F in northern West Virginia; we expect a high of 82F.
I did a few odd jobs ar0und the house yesterday, then we went for a walk and stopped afterwards at a cafe.
In the afternoon I worked on my module, ballasting track and cutting out walls for a structure. Also wrote a little for an article I'm working on regarding our club layout.
Have a nice day.

Good morning from very wet Wisconsin.
Karl, that shooting range started when Richard J Daley was Mayor of Chicago when I was a kid. There always have been shootings especially on the South and Near West sides. The guns are just more powerful. Survival of the fittest is nothing new for gangs and thugs
The rains will continue today with some severe T-Storms and flow into tomorrow.
The grandson is in a parade this morning. I am the bad guy this morning as I am not going to stand out in the frickin cold rain.
Heading into the trainroom as I was just told the grocery run is not needed today.

Light rain, chill and overall monochromatic view here today. Headed to make the Doll some Aaygs….as she pronounces it…(Eggs)
Replaced the outdoor vent pipe covers, 4, and seeded a 30’ x 200’ area back behind my pines. Speaking of the pines. Some have nearly 10-12 inches of new growth. Looking out back a couple times the last week I had a thought there was a fire then realized it was fine talcum powder like dusty pollen from the pines….everything looks like it’s been outside the flour mill.
Well, time to get cracking, them aaygs..
Glad you made it through Lightfoot’s Shooting Range OK, Jim.
Be WELL all…

Morning all...busy day today in Central FL...we didn't get the storms that threatened an exciting and unwelcome start to hurricane season. Today, the family's all getting together to celebrate my youngest graduating HS and my oldest leaving for NY tomorrow. I'll be driving her up and visiting with my Mom, who is slipping a bit, for the week. My daughter will be staying with my brother while she gets a taste of NYC life...can't say her mom and I aren't a bit nervous - but they gotta live...My wife and I grew up there, but our little Florida softies haven't experienced the Northeast winters or pace of life...we'll see how it goes. Looking forward to getting back to my layout expansion once I get her settled in.
Have a great day...John

Good morning Jim, Curt, Bruce, Dave, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge as usual Jim. It is the best way as we all know to start off the day.
63 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island today. The temps are crazy still with the ups and downs in Temps.
I believe I've got an idea what I'm going to tackle next for a build project.
Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Cool, sunny and bright in SE NH, perfect weather as far as I'm concerned!
Last night I started cutting up a Downtown Deco plaster kit, reworking the Front St flats. I need to decide if I should glue the plaster walls together and then start paint & finish, or do some painting, or at least priming first.

Good morning Jim, Curt and the rest of the crew.
I took care of your post, Curt.
Overcast and 59 degrees here in S.E. Michigan. We will stay in the 60's today. The rain that we had over night has stopped, so I guess it will just be a grey day.
Not much on the agenda, so some modeling time will occur at some point.
Have a great day!

Good Morning Jim and all to follow,
I guess I started the lounge for today the same time as Jim. I tried deleting my thread but can't figure out how to do it.
Some chores this morning then some model railroad time.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all from 56f and overcast N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Derailer blend in the 'to go' cups. Elvira has called a second time to let me know she is waiting for the crew van to arrive at 'The Greek's'. "We'll be there in short order!"
Yesterday was a long one in Chicago! Thanks for the condolences. We left at 6am and didn't get back until 7pm. Traffic was about as bad as I can remember. No place to get out of the vehicle to walk around to stretch the legs. Between construction projects and accident detours, yipes!
Well, today will be celebrating, "Back home again in Indiana!", and some R&R.
Have a Super day!
