Good morning and Jim condolences to you and especially Donna. My mom would have been 99 on June 1 but left us at 86.

The last 3 days of glorious weather have left us for 56f degrees now and maybe 62 later with rain supposedly for the next 72 hours, some very severe.

No Farmers Markets today or tomorrow, due to crummy weather. Terry and the daughter are having a Zoom meeting with my sister and 2 friends of the daughter. The daughter is leary of the 10 year old moving to middle school. So many of the Special needs staff are leaving this year from the school district. So the daughter and her team will be researching school districts again. This happened 4 years ago when they went looking and decided to stay here.

My Doctor referred my radiation treatment to the 2 clinics on Maui I found. Neither are accepting non-resident patients. So, my treatments will stay here. Travel plans for my summer are shot!

Thought I had hit post reply but didn’t. Did a quick breakfast out and got more information on the school search. I have to digest what I was told.

Good morning, all, and condolences to Jim. Cold and damp in the lower Merrimack Valley when I took my wife to a craft fair early today, warming up and some blue visible now. I picked up 36" of .015 steel wire this morning, I'll see how it works out for signal cable suspension later.

    Mornin'All!

As Karl has mentioned, it's severe clear here in the northern mitten, with temps headed for the seventies today. Summer has officially arrived, and gasoline is apparently not an issue, at least for some-- the speedboats were all out this morning roaring north on the Bay at full throttle and maximum noise. At 0700, which I thought was rude, mostly because at 0659 I was still sound asleep. OTOH, I did hear from a friend downstate this morning... he said he was robbed at the gas station yesterday, and when the police officer asked him for a description of the thief, he said "Pump 3." <groan>

Condolences to you, Donna and your family, Jim. Stay safe, but celebrate 99....

My schooner schoolship season ended too soon yesterday, and I have lots to catch up on around the house. This pandemic has become tiresome, and you can't have trips when there are no schools signed up! With luck I can get some Important Projects wrapped up, such as my scratchbuilt station based on the one in Greenwood (Wakefield) Massachusetts, and the baggage cars awaiting decals and final assembly, and all sorts of interesting mischief on the railroad itself.

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Good morning. It's a sunny 66F in northern WV; very nice.

Thanks for opening, Jim. My condolences to you and your wife.

I don't have much planned today. Perhaps some outdoor activities. I will also work on the module I'm doing, probably touching up the ballast.

    Have a great day.

Severely clear in MI this morning.

Condolences, Jim and especially Donna. 99 is quite an accomplishment. I was just notified that an old family friend had just left us at 106! She was a fine lady.

Car service took most of the afternoon yesterday, and $5 gas reduces plans. I begged off attending a high school graduation of a step grandson in what has become a marginal part of the area since I retired…there went the neighborhood…losing the ‘neighbor’ prefix…

Bills to pay, vacuum to run and outside while it’s still nice to attend to.

Be well one and all. Jim be safe in your travels/travails today. 99 leaves a lot to smile about…

Good morning Guys, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge as usual Jim. It is, as you know, the best way to start off the day.

Condolences to you, your wife and family as well Jim. That was a long stretch of life.

59 degrees and cloudy here in Rhode Island today. The temps are crazy and rained last evening.

Not sure what my next project will be, but I am still tossing around ideas. I seem to be in the mood for making another project.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is 53 degrees and heading up to 71 today under mostly sunny clouds.

Condolences to you, your wife and family, Jim. 99 wow! We have one aunt from that generation still with us. She is 97, lives in the panhandle of Florida (where else?) and is sharp as a tack. She did give up driving, though.

I have a bit more mowing to do this morning (sorry Martin). I'll try to make it quick.

I saw that the last Howard Johnson's Restaurant just closed. It was near Lake George, NY I believe. If you are my age, you can remember when they were everywhere when traveling.

    Have a great day!

Cloudy and a bit cool in SE NH. But no rain, we're told.

This afternoon I'm delivering a half dozen B&M boxcars to the museum in Wakefield NH. And I'll do some more 'imagineering' on the back wall of the staging yard, deciding what other flats to build to go alongside the 2 story tenement I finished last night.

    Good Morning All,

It will be raining most the weekend here from the tropical-not tropical storm. We're on the outer Northern side so we'll get rain but they say low winds. Good day for the train room.

Condolences to you and your family Jim.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, Jim, Martin and crew. It's a nice day in Tidewater, Virginia. We're going to be in the low 80's, so I'm starting the day with some outdoor chores. Later, I'm going to the club to play with trains.

    Have a good day.

Looks like another great day here; birds are already out.......but all the mowers, weed wacker, power washers, etc. will no doubt ruin an otherwise lovely morning.

Got those pesky galleys to put a wrap on; next issue of mag to shoot off my desk, and then get a little quiet gardening and weeding to do before the burn cycle gets going.

    Great weekend all!

    So it goes...

Good morning all from 49f and clear N.E. Indiana. The coffee urn is READY with Commuter blend this morning. The special is a bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiched in between the halves. Oatmeal pot is gurgling at the end of the line with the other beverages.

Leaving shortly to Chicago attending MIL's (99) funeral service. It;ll be a long day! No other plans.

    Have a Super day!
