Thanks Bruce. At this scale it seems I spend so much time and I end up with one very small wall. Enjoyable, however.

Hey Mike nice work with your wall sections, I too like the color. Looking forward to your progress here. Great job this far.
Back to the old magazines, I like you go way back, but hard to find what I want with all these issues. I have thought of cutting out just the articles I like, but never did it yet.

Thank you, Louis. After several days away from home, I might be back to working on the model today.

George, Thank you for the link.

I'm working on the roof. Parts will be shingled and other sections metal.

                    Here, I've started shingling:

I'm using Bar Mills shingle strips in gray. They are a heavy printed paper. After gluing them on I stain the edges and brush with a brown powder.

                      Mike,
The shingles look great! They look like real wood!
What is the thickness of the paper?

Looking good Mike. You going to do all the farm buildings in that group?

Scott, Thank you. I'm pleased how they turned out.

The paper/card is 1/64". More of a light card than a paper, I would say. I'm guessing too thick for Z.

                            Mike,
Yeah, too thick. Since you printed those shingles, is that a purchased file or did you create that file?
If it's purchased, where can I buy it?

Oops, Now I get it, They are printed by Bar Mills.

                          Bernd,

                          Thank you.

We will see how many I do. I'm planning to do the house but beyond that I'm undecided. I need to order more stripwood first.
