I guess success would hinge on my ability to cut such small pieces. We will see.
Enjoy the view. Thank you for your interest.

I assembled the barn and added siding to the short walls, then cut out a piece of plywood to act as a roof for the passageway and provide a stable join for the two sections:
Here they are all joined up:
I guess the roof is next. I'm still working that out.

At my age modeling in N scale is out, much less trying to cut out some N scale hinges.
Carry on.

Thank you. I believe this is a classic shape for a barn; that's what interested me in building it.
As far as N scale goes, this is sort of an experiment for me and so far I'm not experiencing big problems yet. After looking at other scratchbuilt structures in this scale I think the hinges are out.

Sturdy it is. I don't think I mentioned this earlier, but the basic core is 1/32" plywood. Over that are the individual boards.

Michael just got caught up on your thread. Doing a country farm should be an interesting build.
The barn looks really good despite the small scale as does the details. Have fun.Owner, General Manager, and all around "chief cook and bottle washer" of the Caz Coal-and-Wood Railroad
