Geez, I was afraid I missed Friday! (A couple packages are due Friday, including a big one from Scenic Express.) Cool right now, but heating up here for the weekend. Train room in the basement is still nice and cool, though.

I did have to look a couple times in the left upper corner of the IPadPro to figure the day of the week in Jim’s opening page. Thanks Karl.

Waiting for the rains and figuring what I might do today

      Enjoy the day

Good morning Karl, Dave, Tom, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge as usual Karl. It is the best way to start off the day.

Karl, In the On30 I see a nice LED install. Was that a pre-wired LED or did you have to do the soldering? I hate working with those types of LED's.

        Where's Jim???

60 degrees and raining here in Rhode Island today.

Modeling on the critter is still ongoing, just nothing new to post yet. And I'm still in the think tank.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

LED used was pre wired. I share your hesitation but have found other than the rather small wires, they’re not too bad to work with. I used fine shrink tube to gave a little more substance to handle them.

Jim? I think the transporter transducers fried the astrotransmorgafrier fritzed it’s modem. I believe he was last seen at Gasoline Alley on 16th St. In Indy. A different type of Zoom meeting.

Good morning, Karl and crew. It's a warm and humid day in Tidewater Virginia. We just finish a walk, trying to get it in before it's too warm.

I have some deck chairs to wash and get ready for the outdoor season. This afternoon I'm going to gather up some stuff for the Tidewater Division's white elephant table tomorrow. We'll see if I'm disciplined enough to return home with less than I departed with.

        Have a good day.

          Mornin' All!

66, headed for 78 and the Coast Guard helo is out over the Bay, either training (likely) or supervising the grey blanket reassembly for this afternoon's whackety-bang frivolity that will likely last into the weekend over the northern mitten. Probably a good afternoon for the bench, but there is Admin to be dealt with and then errands....

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Good morning Karl and the rest of the crew. Bonnie and I both had our annual 'fasting' blood tests this morning, so we were out of the house early. Stopped at a local breakfast joint to break our fast. Yum! After a few more errands, we are home for the day.

Amazon continues to amaze. We ordered a new Britta "Filter as you pour" decanter yesterday after dinner. It was delivered to the front porch at 4:30 a.m. Yikes! Middle of the night delivery...

As I went out to the porch to pick up the Amazon package, I found a bill for fertilizing the lawn and applying a weed killer. Only problem was that it wasn't from the service we use, and the name and address was for a neighbor. I did see a guy scooting around the yard late yesterday and assumed it was our service. Oh well, notified our neighbor and hope that our lawn is not 'over fertilized'. There were plenty of 'clues' for the lawn guy. Besides the fact that we all have our house numbers etched in a concrete block on the front of our houses, I have two different signs saying "De Young" - one in the front garden and one on the front porch that he came up to leave the invoice.

Today is the warmest day for the next 8, so we will enjoy some outdoor activities.

            Have a great day!

A delivery person would be advised to keep a low profile at 0430 here in the lower west central part of lower MI.

Maybe the lawn guy thought DeYoung was a place for the kids to play.

Good evening, all; the Maine coast wasn't particularly warm today, but it was a nice day to work outside in long pants and sleeves. Only thing of note was my first try with a plasma cutter, then Thai mackerel (pla tou) for dinner.
