    Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee and Mike for the breakfast.

Rick another beautiful picture. I'll have to get over to FB to see the rest of them.

Rainy weather in South Jersey today.
So time at the bench later on.

My Phillies are winning and that's a good thing!
We have a shot at the big dance this year.
While the Yankees I think are going home again this year.

    Ron glad your home safe.

TomO sounds like the kids and food are wearing you down a bit!

I'll see the rest of you guys later on in the new lounge the paint is drying.
New bar & wide screen TV.
You should hear the sound system Rick donated his used sound system!

    Everyone have a wonderful day!!

sun and 50s going to 70s after 75o I saw on the truck dash headed home from ops around 4:30 yesterday. We had a good session, I worked two switching assignments that took up much of the day. I enjoyed that. Sort of stay out of the way of the big yards.

I’ve a paint job 1:1 to do, tired of seeing bare wood boards in delivery pics from Amazon… So…I’ll be covered in green by the end of the day. Hopefully some lands on the porch. Reminds me of a lame story, a hobo was walking thru a nice area looking for food. A home owner said, “I make you a steak and beer, but first take this can of white paint and paint the porch in back of the house…” “Fine” said the hobo and walk off to do the job. A couple hours later he returns, give the man the empty can and said, “ I’m all done, let’s eat….oh one thing. Don’t you know the difference between a Porsche and a Mercedes?”

Enjoy the fine day all…stay safe.

Good morning Rick, TomO, Mike, Louis and the rest od the crew that goes in later. Thanks for the coffee Rick,

Made it home without incident so all's good. Didn't we just open this lounge yesterday?

Going to keep this short as I keep getting a "Invalid server response"

    Have a great day everyone.

Good morning once again Rick, TomO, Mike, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Rick. And with the coffee. We just have to get that Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

53 degrees, and rain on and off for today here in Rhode Island.

Not sure what's is going on today with bench time.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

    Howdy folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Nice weather for hiking, hope you enjoy the day.

Farmers breakfast is on the counter. This version has home fries, eggs, ham, and onions all scrambled today. Sourdough toast with assorted jellies are on the counter, too.

Not much planned for today: football at one, chowder at noon, and maybe loft activities after that.

    Have fun,
    mike

Tom, the temperature is amazing for this time of year. After grandkids, you probably need a rest today.

Good morning from. A warm Wisconsin. Maybe 80 today, high 70’s Monday and low 40’s for the high on Tuesday. Fall in the Midwest, it can be a great time.

The grandkids kept me busy yesterday and I slept from midnight to before 6am very well. Not exactly sure how today will unfold. I have a dinner invite I should decline. With too many meals out last week my diet is out of whack.

    enjoy the day
    TomO

    Good morning everyone.

Coffee, tea and sodas are at the ready.

I'm in Cheyenne, OK and the weather here will be: Patchy blowing dust after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84.

Mike, thanks for setting up the bar but I did not partake.
I did have a ported at lunch yesterday with my pizza.
Thanks for all the OK tips.

Jerry, the Stars and Stripes are still waving proudly here in OK.

Karl, I'm sure you had lots of fun at the ops and that is a great picture for a backdrop.

Louis, thanks for the nice words about my picture.

How are all our other regulars and lurkers doing.

After 4 hours of driving I made it to Black Kettle National Grasslands.
Found a nice spot to park next to a lake.
Took some pictures and met some fellow campers and we talked about our travels and experiences.
I'm going to look at Google maps and look for a remote spot to camp and be closer to some hiking trails.
    Last nights sunset.

    Good afternoon folks,

Larry did a fine job with coffee and breakfast (muchas gracias), so I'll open the bar. We have all spirits, beer, wine, single malts, but no bourbons. I don't drink the stuff because of a bad experience in college. Alas, I won the chugging contest though, sort of...

Easy day here, upgraded my laptop and desktop with SSD drives. They are much quicker. Unpacked more train boxes and set up tools. I may need to rethink my arrangement. Chowder put off until tomorrow, today was baked beans, coleslaw and ribs.

Weather is very nice here, high 73F, tonight 41F.

Enjoyed catching up on everyone's chronicles.

    Have fun,
    mike
