    Morning!

    Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick & Jerry!

    Same ole same ole with me. Slowly doing stuff around the house. Good to be in less pain but guess arthritis is the new norm.

    Yesterday went to the dump and got rid of the old mattress and toilet I replaced before surgery. Plus recycled a ton of boxes.

    Then to Oreilly for oil/filter for Gena's car. Almost 40 bucks. Dang Wix filter was over 10 bucks!

    Repaired the rotten bridge on the sidewalk. Screws rusted through...so much for corrosion-resistant material.

    Weed killer war continues. Charged the Jeep battery again. I think it may have a dead cell.

    Walked to the Juneteenth post office. Closed. Gena is on a bottled water run making the mail run today. hey honey can you mail this?

    Today upstairs double sink is slow again. Traps need cleaned. Lazy Susan is also out of time and cabinet door doesn't align. Oil change in the late evening.
    Seems like all todays task will test my new improved back!

      Good morning everyone.

      Coffee, hot water for tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks are ready to enjoy.

      Scattered showers, mainly after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 75.

      Mike, glad you enjoyed your Father's Day and the train ride.

      Louis, lot's of advantages to digital cameras.

      Karl, glad you arrived safely.

      Jerry, does acetone get old and lose it's effectiveness?

      Ron, thought you were done with convention work.

      Tom, hope you're feeling better 100% of the time you can do your ATV ride today.

        Larry, how did the 1:1 kitchen window repair go?

        Kyle, I see you are still at the redos. Fun.

        Going to be summer here today at 97F. Now I can put my sweaters away. We are running errands today. Didn't get out much yesterday, just recycle of unpacking boxes.

          Mike, Summers, when they get here, are warm to hot and humid, with an average of eight to ten days that cross 90 degrees. We stay around 70's and 80's.

        Sun this morning The big pond is calm and it’s 64 degrees. It stayed cool all day yesterday with the wind off the lake. Water temp is reported still in the 50s like having a big. A/C. Temperature inland we’re in 80s.

        Got the rickety mower going and zipped around with that, seems the ticks liked that chance for a ride

        Had a fine mess of bluegills for dinner. Mmm

        Today? It’s Wednesday, beyond that ???

          Good morning crew!

          Rick, thanks for opening as usual and the nice cool drink.
          You and that camera take some fantastic photos.
          So crisp and clear, those songbird pics are a bird carvers dream as
          the feathers, their coloring and groupings are so well defined.

          It's been a roaster the last 2 days, for my area anyway.
          Relief today, 68° now, headed for a high of 86.

          I've been busy the last week with no modeling activities as the Summer has finally arrived
          in my area.

          I brought my Harley and fishing boat out of storage and have been playing with them.

          Also had some nasty storms move through a few days ago, and have been clearing some downed branches around my place, and some
          cutting up of some larger stuff to save my 83 year old neighbor and friend, from needing to shell out for professional clean up, and for the nice maple firewood.

          I took the last 2 days away from that and the high temps, bobbing around along the western shoreline of the bay in search of a couple more Perch dinners.

          I hope everyone has been doing well
          and your enjoying Summer where ever your at.

            Good morning from So. Central Wisconsin. 66 on the deck this morning and the high only going to be 83f degrees. A pleasant day coming. Yesterday was a nasty 96 per my on property weather stations but with little breeze and full sun.

            Not sure what the lady of the house has planned today.

              Good morning Rick, Mike, Karl, Dave, Tom, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Rick. where is everyone? Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

              Back to 63 degree weather, with cloudy skies here in Rhode Island at the moment. Not going to get much better with possible rain showers.
              They say summer is here now, I don't see it yet!

              Mike, Summers, when they get here, are warm to hot and humid, with an average of eight to ten days that cross 90 degrees. We stay around 70's and 80's.

              Not sure again what today will bring yet. I'll have to play it by ear and try to get motivated again I guess. Lost the Mojo.

              Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

                Good morning Rick, Mike, Karl, Dave, tom, Louis and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

                Rick, thanks for the coffee. I thought I was finished with the convention work too. We are putting the clinics from the convention on our YouTube channel, but are having problems with the sound quality with one video. I am also merging all the modeler's minutes used during the convention into a 2 part video and adding music to them.

                Philip, take it easy with your back.

                Mike, I use iMovie on my Mac.

                Have a Zoom meeting tonight regarding next season's Kit-busters Project, we are looking at a series on using Arduino's for model railroading. After the Zoom meeting I hope to finish off part 2 of the modeler's minutes.

                Rick thanks for the coffee and good luck at the Docs. Happy Friday by the way.

                Philip nice to hear the back is better but don't over due. Sadly when you get to
                be an "old fart" arthritis is one of those things you have to put up with.

                Mike when you've moved into a new place empty boxes usually abound. My Daughter
                gave me two flat stacks of empties shrink wrapped to store for her. The window repair
                went better than expected....it almost looks like a new window; a little chalk today and it
                should hopefully last as long as I do.

                Karl it's amazing how a large body of water can effect inland temps. The fish dinner does
                sound rather tasty.

                Dave sounds like you've been busy of late. It was really nice of you to help your neighbor,
                we could use more of that in this world.

                Tom enjoy your day no matter where it takes you.

                Louis hope you find your "mojo" and I'm sure something will come long today.

                Jerry what's going on?

                A sunny 70 with a high of 84 here in New York with possible T-storms later on. Still waiting on the
                metal for the garage roof which was supposed to show up at the dealers some time yesterday. I'm
                hoping to get it by weeks end so I can get started on that project. Once that's done then it's just little
                stuff the rest of the summer.

                Have a great day, stay healthy, and cool if you're in a hot area.

                One task finished yesterday. The sink. No spasms but not like I was at an earlier age.

                Can't complain!

                Bluegill! yum! Haven't been fishing in 10 years or so.

                  Running late this morning as we are headed to Wayne (North Jersey ) for the last graduation of the year.
                  Hopefully it will not shower or rain!!

                  No Rick it doesn't get old and it works and so the AXLE is apart finally along with the springs but that's okay!!
                  I'll try to get them back together later much later tonight.
                  I guess saying I was going to build a Truck repair shop payed the LP helped get it apart!!

                      Weather in South Jersey cloudy/68. Later 73 with showers!!

                      Off to have blood work done in a few minutes.

                      Didn't get to sit at the bench like planned yesterday. Maybe today!!

                        Rick thanks for the java this morning and hope your Mon's lab work goes ok.

                        Louis I don't know about you but it seems like every time a turn around the lawn
                        needs mowing; but it's still better than dealing with the other stuff.

                        Jerry hope your blood work turns out well and you do get to the bench.

                        The rest of the Crew hope you're all well.
