  • Good morning from the decks in So. Central Wisconsin where the weather will be nice, later. A tad cold at 62 now with a 9mph breeze. 83 is predicted for later and 90’s tomorrow. Wearing jeans now but will be in shorts when it hits 70.

Terry finished the 3 acres on the mower. Said she enjoyed it. 1st time cutting since 1986 when we sold the campground. She is out in the stables now.

Rick, glad the sale went well. Hope for better today for you.

I am just trying to get healthy again by relaxing. It is boring but I think the concentration is getting better. Terry wants me to take another Covid test when she comes in from her horses. The infusion was Wednesday so I should be negative.

    Happy Father’s day

    • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks are ready to enjoy.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.

      Jerry, truck pictures?

Larry, Saturday was chilly and windy here too, but yesterday was a little better.

Karl, nice that you had a good time with the SIL's family.

Louis, hope today's weather is better.

Tom, hope you tested negative and are feeling much better.

Dave, Philip, Ron, Mike and everyone else looking in, stop in and say hello.

      Yesterday's sale was a bust.
Only one person came, but at least he bought a few things.
Closed shop early and don't think I'll do any more.
When I get my van I'll load it up and go rent some tables at the flea market.

Had some time to sit out back and play with the camera.

    • Good Morning,

Coffee's on along with hot water for tea and assorted cold sodas in the Fridge.

Going to keep it brief since I have to take the Mrs. car in for an inspection shortly.

A sunny 48 with a high of 72 here in New York. After the inspection I probably will
be working on the Kitchen window.

Hope you're all doing well and get to do what you want this fine day.

Enjoy your day and stay healthy!!!!

      • Morning everyone

Rick, Larry thanks for opening & the coffee.

Jersey favorite this morning fried eggs with Taylor Ham (Pork Roll) on a hard roll with or without cheese.

Weather is P. sunny.60. Suppose to be 80 later.
        Could be a beach day.

No truck Rick went back to trying to get the axle apart...
But I think I will start an SierraWest Kit Truck repair to keep me busy through the summer.

Dave, Mike, Karl, Louis, Philip & Ron what's on your agenda today??

        Everyone have a wonderful day!!

        • Good morning Rick, Larry, Jerry, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Rick. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

Great looking shots Rick. That is a clear as a bell photograph each and every time it seems.
Back to 65 degree weather, with sunny skies here in Rhode Island at the moment. Not going to get much warmer though they say.
They say summer is here tomorrow, I don't see it!

Not sure what today will bring yet. I'll have to play it by ear. Try to get motivated again I guess.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. Those of you that have the new Holiday, enjoy your day off I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

          • Good morning Rick, Larry, Jerry, Louis and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Rick, Larry, thanks for the coffer, there can never be too many choices. Thanks for the breakfast Jerry.

Rick, looks like your new camera works very well.

Karl, safe journey today up to the northern compound.

Went to Washington DC and met up with my Niece yesterday, spent the day sightseeing. We had a great day as we went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, took pictures of the Washington Monument and the White House and did a lot of walking around.

            Have a great day everyone.

            • Good morning from the beautiful south deck in So. Central Wisconsin. Nice today heading to 93 but with clear skies, little humidity and a good breeze.

The Morning Doves after being repelled for the past 2 months by something my son gave me to shoo the birds away found the deck again overnight. I need to get the hose out and rinse the deck. Wow they made up for missed time.

If I test negative again today the granddaughter will come over to ride with grandma and swim later with both of us. Feeling ok 80% of the time but with little strength. I did send a message to my PT this morning via MyChart to see what she recommends. I can’t do the exercises on my schedule.

Rick, too bad on the sales yesterday.

Karl, have a safe trip up to Northern Command.

Louis, I’d love to send you some of this Wisconsin heat, but it comes along generally with high humidities

Jerry, thanks I will have the breakfast sandwich. Enjoy starting the truck kit

To everyone, be safe, stay cool, stay away from the gas pumps

A slight chance of showers after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 82.

Tom, hope you tested negative and your granddaughter came over.

Ron, DC has a lot of nice museums and they're all free.

Louis, not all the pictures are keepers.
                  It's much like fishing.
You don't catch a fish every time you cast.

Jerry, have fun building the kit.

                  Larry, car pass inspection?

Dave, Philip and Mike, what's up?

Just another day at work today.

I find that I can take dozens of photos and” throw out” 9 out of 10. That’s one of the great things about digital recording. Zero cost unlike the old 36 shot rolls of Ektachrome…”boy I got some great shots yesterday but there’s 3 more shots on the roll…”

                • Good morning Rick, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Rick. where is everyone? Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

What's nice about cameras today are that we can delete on the spot and not wait for a print before tossing it.

                  • Morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. I like your photo and fish analogy. Also like the photos, cool.

Hope everyone had a good holiday. Daughter took me to north Georgia mountains for a ride on the Blue Ridge Railway. It was a fun weekend of fantastic food, fun train ride, and spending time with Daughter. Wish Son could have been with us.

Need to go get drivers license and tags today. Maybe a run by Lowes.

                    Have fun,

Homemade waffles with butter and Vermont maple syrup. Sides of bacon & sausage.

                        Maybe not a beach day.

Thanks for the coffee Rick and the breakfast Jerry.

Jerry, looking forward to the truck repair thread.

Karl, glad you made it to the northern compound safely.

Tom, hope the second test is negative so you can spend some time with your granddaughter.

Have bit more editing to do on a couple of videos so they can be posted on YouTube. Once that is done, I'll be finished with the convention, at least that is tonight's plan.

                          • Good morning from Wisconsin. 3rd and last day of testing and all have been negative. Thank you for the well wishes. Feeling good 80% of the time. The other 20% I have been told happens very quickly or it will linger a long time. We shall see.

Glad to read the happy Father’s Day reports. Karl, it’s amazing how the weather changes around the lake. Have a good time in Northern Command.

Not reporting much from here. The granddaughter spent 8 hours with us yesterday and mainly with grandma. They rode and they swam. I seemed to hold no interest to her.

The grandson called this morning he wants a ATV ride after his activities are done this afternoon. Told him not today but tomorrow should be good as we have visitors stopping this afternoon.

                            Enjoy your day
