  • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks are ready to enjoy.

A slight chance of showers before 9am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 81.

Karl, hope there's more positivity in the air today and an op session soon.

Mike, hope you're feeling much better and the unpacking is done soon.

Ron, you've earned a night of unwinding.

    Louis, keep on keep'n on.

Tom, hope to see the grandson on the pro tour someday.

Jerry, shame the instructions are so bad.

Larry, Dave, Philip, how are you?

Got an email yesterday morning that the computer was being delivered yesterday instead of today.
Got home last night only to find the computer and not the monitor.
Already sent an email to B&H and should call Fed-Ex too.
Thinking I should call the CC company and with hold payment till the monitor shows up.
    Cardiologist appointment first though.

    Have a great day everyone.

    • Morning everyone

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.
Sounds like someone screwed up there!

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/70. Later 76 but very humid.
Plus there going to throw in a couple of showers.

Still soaking that part trying to get the axle apart from the springs without breaking them.
I should have fitted everything together before gluing!

Need to take the neighbor for her monthly shot in the eye!!
She says it doesn't hurt it's just the thought of it.

I hope you guys all get to do what you want today.

      Everyone have a wonderful day!!

      • Good morning Rick, Jerry, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Rick. Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

Rick, I'd hold the payment. Mail and package shipments have been really bad around here. We as neighbors have been delivering mail to other addresses as they come to the wrong address even when clearly marked. I've got two packages from Amazon bouncing around different States right now with a bunch of "We are sorry for any inconvenience.

70 and sunny here in Rhode Island at the moment. Suppose to be in the 80's today. We'll see.

The new Critter project in the logging and mining section is still ongoing for those interested. Thanks again all for your comments on that.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

        • The storms so Bally-hooked as being the prelude to the apocalypse held off until near midnight here. Some passed to our Northern flank earlier and the Mighty Orange Blob from Hades or beyond passed to our South-Southwest. Once we we hit it lit up the sky with the visual ferocity of non stop Grand Finale’ fireworks from the 4th of July…the rain gage her shows 1 1/2 inches of rain. At early up 0700 this am it was foggy and still remain hazy with 100% humids and rising temps going to mid 80s today with 90-100 feels like miserable index, just a prelude to tomorrows actual 95-100 with 105-110 wtf . It’s widespread so many of all of us should share in this…Tropical Storm Brandon…

Plans are to stay in the a/c so unless our abundant power grid regurgitates…lol. Plenty to do.

All the water we gained shuould kick the lawn back in gear and the mowing machine is awaiting the cool off, hopefully, Thoidsday, eh?!

TomO. Haven’t seen “your” weather girl on GR in a couple weeks so Googled her, she be “Moved on to new adventures…” in a post I found. Cute kid, wish her well.

          • Good morning Rick, Gerry, Louis, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in yesterday.

Rick, thanks for the coffee and I hope your monitor shows up today.

            Tom, glad your feeling better.

It is currently 79F here in Central Virginia with a projected high of 84F, much better than the 110F with the humidity we got yesterday. (insert sweating emoji here). spent a little time at the bench last night and finished the outhouse, will post pictures to night. I'm thinking lighting is next.

oh well, it is never a bad idea to check on the neighbors. But, I doubt they’d answer the doors!

I am out on the deck and the heat is definitely moving in. There is a nice breeze that is comfortable. It is beautifully bright, not a cloud in a gorgeous blue Wisconsin sky we don’t get to see enough of.

With the heat advisory the next couple days I may end up with some time at the bench. This being sick stuff sure is deflating and while I have times of feeling better it’s the other times that are tough. The cough just racks through the body and it needs to stop. The cough suppressant at least tastes ok but I have reached the limit I should take per the label. I did send a message via MyChart to the doctor last night.

Terry, the daughter and granddaughter are checking schools out in paradise for our special needs little girl. The public schools on Maui are fine but a few years ago when they were checked out for special needs they weren’t good. They still are not so they are investigating 2 private schools on the Island for her. I know there isn’t too much we or her parents won’t do to make her life better but…

Holy Cripes they are Ivy League prices high. They will fly back Thursday night and arrive around 8AM Friday. Peace and quiet will end

Sunny, with a high near 84.

Tom, hope you feel better soon and I can relate to the meme.

Ron, I see you found the bench.

                Karl, keep cool.

                Louis, hope you are well.

                Jerry, hope the soaking worked.

Mike, Larry, Philip and Dave, tell us what you've been up to.

                The monitor arrived yesterday.
Took some head scratching and banging to get everything running, but perseverance paid off.
Nice having a larger monitor again.
Downloaded latest versions of Lightroom and PS.

Rick, thanks for coffee. Looks like the camera is returning good results from the investment. Wow!

Jerry, good luck with the axle.

Louis, there won't be more fires on your layout when you get the critters finished. Nice scene.

Tom, hope you feel better soon.

Karl, those long handle chain saws are terrific. Did the bird finally fly away?

Ron, that outhouse should be made out of brick. Nice work.

Grocery shopping is the main agenda item today. Plan to make bratwurst mit brötchen tonight. First time making these rolls, so should be interesting. Still itching from antibiotic reaction, but picking up prednisone at pharmacy this morning. I started a new antibiotic last night, so hope I am not allergic to it. Sinus infection still raging and painful. Hot here today at 97F with thunderstorms this evening. Oh joy.

                        Have fun,

Unfortunately the bird did not survive. Looked too young to have been out of “the house” yet. The nest was way too high to try and return it.

Mike, I think I'm going to your house for supper tonight.

No modeling for me last night as I fell asleep reading, I must be reading a very boring book. Jerry & Mike, thanks for the comments on the Outhouse build, another thing almost off the list, I'll do the required touch-ups tonight and then it is on to the lighting phase of the project.

                        • Hello from warm and humid So. Central Wisconsin. I tested positive for Covid yesterday. I have a antibody treatment at 5:30PM today at the UW Hospital. I don’t qualify for the pills. Not happy but it is what it is.

I am leaving the humidity of the outside decks for a shower and then my cave.

Not a happy boy since yesterday afternoon. It’s what I get for going to a International Hockey tournament after our wonderful powers that be decide it’s ok for International visitors to NOT have to show negative Covid testing to enter the USA.
