The Doll’s latest acquisition is watching me as I post here this morning. It’s huge. Taken in 2000 by a bow hunter in Saskatchewan. Going to go to Northern Command with is, hopefully soon. On call for jury duty still flummoxed life here.

Not much else to add, Rick, good to see the house sale went ok.

      Everyone have a fine day.

        • Good morning Jerry, Karl, Dave, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge Jerry. Rick is missing in action today I see, Coffee, it is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

67 and sunny here in Rhode Island today. We are going to see 80 degrees by noon I guess from what I'm hearing.

The new Critter project in the logging and mining section is going along quite well now for those interested. Thanks Dave for your comment on that.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

          • Good morning Jerry, Dave, Karl, Louis and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Jerry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.

Had a quiet evening last night as everything is done for tomorrows virtual convention. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

            Have a great day everyone.

            • Good morning everyone.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.

Jerry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
I guess making that Dr's appointment was a rash decision.

Ron, congrats on finishing and enjoy the convention.

Louis, continued good work on your project.

              Dave, go enjoy the day.

Karl, having that thing stare at you must be unbearable.

Everyone else, hope you are all very well.

              Very busy morning here already.
Gave blood for lab work for a Dr's. appointment next week.
Had an appointment with the urologist.
Title company sent the check to the lawyer instead of to me.
Had to go to his office to pick it up and then went to the bank to deposit it.
Came home and met a guy who bought a mitre saw I was selling.

Next step is to find a van sooner.
But before even I do that I need to go to South Dakota to claim residency.
It will save me tax money when I buy the van.

Went to the Apple store yesterday but they didn't have anything in stock.
I think I'm going to The City and see if B&H has something in stock.

              Monthly dinner with friends tonight.

              Whewwwww.

              Have a great day everyone.

              • Morning Morning,

Jerry thanks for the java and breakfast. Glad you had safe travels to Philly and good luck
                at the skin Docs.

Rick congrats on the closing. New computer? Mac or PC.

Karl that bear looks "creepy" the way it stares. Hopefully you don't scare the crap out
of someone when transporting up North....although that would be funny.

Dave enjoy your day....I'll have to check out your progress shortly.

Louis your "critter" is coming along nicely....have fun.

Ron enjoy the Convention tomorrow....you certainly earned it.

Rest of the Crew hope your all doing well.

A sunny 50 with a high of 70 here in New York. Not much going on the past couple of days other
than the normal stuff. Lawn mowing and hedge clipping on the menu for today. Going down to see
our Daughter tomorrow. Filled the car with gas....ouch....$4.99/gal.....ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day and be well.

Skin doc says it's a change in my pigment nothing to worry about.
I didn't know there were pigs in the family well I do now!!
It could be from the skin drying out as you get older I wonder if she was making fun of my age!!

So it's off to the beach for us.
I've done nothing from the bench in ages 2 weeks I believe.
I need to get some of whatever Dave is taking!!

Glad to see you guys are all doing well today!

                • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks are ready to enjoy.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 2pm and 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77.

Jerry, great news from the doc.

Larry, enjoy your visit with the daughter and gas prices are definitely ouch.

                  What's everyone doing today?

I did go to NY and left a bunch of money there.
Bought a new camera and lenses and a new computer and monitor.
                  Switched from Nikon to Sony.
                  So much to learn.
I'm half way through a video explaining setting up the menu.
I'll go outside later and snap some pics but won't be able to process them till Tuesday when the computer shows up.

                  Have a great day everyone.

In store for a soggy afternoon by the looks of things on the round flashy thing with the green and yellow moving splotches.

                    Thanks for the coffee Rick.
New toys are always a lot of fun!

Going to go out for breakfast I think.

A little bench time after and then some cards with my siblings this afternoon.

                    Enjoy the day everyone,
                    Cheers!

                      • 65 and sun. Going to 77 maybe.

No plans, plenty to do, need to scare up some ambitchin’

Washed the old Ford 661 Workmaster tractor and some metal parts for an old gas pump I been going to repaint for 10 years. Probably be on back shelf again. The Doll is in the dumps about the antique business being dead. Seems in a sour mood. Longs to be up N but has obligations in the next week. So…

Interested in hearing about the camera, Rick. Never had Sony of my owny to quote a long forgotten adv. I might remember. Been Nikon since 1968 or so, Nikon “F” in black. One slip into Canon Rebel digital I hated. Current Nikon, D5600, I still haven’t learned, really, rely on the auto settings 99% of the time. Had it 5 yrs or more. D-90 before that, lens auto focus went goofy and “needed” the higher dpi. Does all I need but always looking to talk myself into something more…but keeping out of the game for now. The mirrorless stuff is interesting but I’m not wanting to go 100% into something new $$$
                        Enjoy the new stuff.

Evryone have a good day. (slipped one by spell check)

Coffee, hot water for tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks are ready to enjoy.

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 2pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Cloudy, with a high near 76.

Louis, yes your critter project is progressing nicely.

Jerry, with todays rain you should have more time with the truck.

Karl, my Nikon is a D-80.
It's about 15 years old but still going strong.

                            I'll keep it as a back-up.
Watch some you-tube videos, go out and experiment with the other settings and practice.
                            That's what I've been doing.

Dave, I have a F in black Sony.
                            Here's a picture of what I got.

With todays rain I don't think I'll be able to get out and shoot more.

                            Have a great day everyone.
