    • Good morning Rick and incoming crew.
61° and cloudy, headed for 65 in the good land this morning.
Rain is on the way and almost here.

      Thanks for opening Rick!
Glad everything cleared up quickly for you, Congrats on the closing.

I was thinking the same thing Philip.

The foam carved rocks were not what I'd hoped they would be, so I took the day
off yesterday to go out on the bay for some perch fishing with buddy Rob.
We have been best friends and fishing buddy's since high school, was good to
see him get after them. There were fairly large swells on the bay but we toughed it out and came in with 10 nice 12 - 15" perch, and a 30" Pike.
Lots of laughs as well. A good morning by any measure.
Gave it lot's of thought, foam rocks were never plan A anyway so, I'll be working that out this morning.

      Enjoy the day everyone,
      Cheers!

      • Good morning Rick, Philip, Dave, and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge as usual Rick. It is the best way as we all know to start off the day.

Rick I'm glad your eye procedure went well, and no mishaps on the way back home. Rest today, and see a whole new world tomorrow.

65 degrees, cloudy and rain here in Rhode Island today.

I started a new Critter project in the logging and mining section for anyone interested.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

        • Good morning Rick, Philip, Dave, Louis and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Rick, thanks for the coffee, glad the eye procedure went well.

Dave, I have carved foam rocks on my layout, took a couple of tries to get them where I was satisfied with them. That being said the latest rock face that is currently in construction is made out of plaster.

Louis, going to have to check out your new critter build.

Me, still working on convention stuff, just a lot of last minute things. Have our final pre-convention Zoom meeting tonight.

          Have a great day everyone.

          • Our morning dedication today to Rick from the Grooveyard of the Passed…

Mowed yesterday, after trip to get new blades for the zero-turn, made beef stew and dumplings and worked in the shop/barn.

Temps rebounding from 47 degrees in early sun but it will rain today about the time of the parade… temp to top in upper 60s ‘they’ said.

Seeing no red ! yet, I’ll send this….

            Everyone be well.

            • Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Glad the laser went well and that you made it home safely.

It's a rainy day in Georgia forecast for 84F. Didn't sleep much last night because of pain from sinus infection. Finally used an old prescription of ibuprofen that helped.

Got word last night that one of my cousins passed away. We were running buddies when I visited Grandmas. This getting old sucks. Flying out tomorrow morning for the funeral, so I may be absent over the weekend.

              Have fun,

              • Morning everyone

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.
Can't believe they let you drive home like that.
But glad it turned out alright.

Guess later today you'll be free from the house and on the hunt for the vehicle?

Dave just saw your work nice!

Louis I'll have to get to the critter thread.

Larry, Philip, Karl & Mike hope you get to do what you want today!

Me it's grocery shopping today. And another graduation tomorrow in Philadelphia this time.
Ask me if I'm tired of driving back and forth to these things.

                Everyone have a wonderful day!!

                • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks are ready to enjoy.

A slight chance of showers before 9am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 82.

Jerry, safe travels to Philly and enjoy the graduation.

                  Mike, my condolences.

Karl, you're too funny and yes I can see clearly now.
Wait, I thought we were a humorless forum.

Ron, hope you're done with the convention prep.

Louis, your new project looks good.

Dave, glad you had a fun day fishing and caught a lot too.

                  Philip, lifting restrictions lifted yet?

                  Larry, what's going on?

                  Tom, how are you?

When I left the Dr's office yesterday everything seemed fine.
Blurriness started when I got in the car.
I could see more than well enough to drive just couldn't read the signs but didn't need to anyway since I knew where I was.

                  House closed yesterday.

                  Grocery shopping this morning.
Think I'll go shop for a new computer this afternoon.

                  Have a great day everyone.

                    • Fog was heavy this morning, then I got up…

We had a bit of yesterday that kept work/play inside. I went to,the shop and fooled around with the welder. And grinder. A grinder and paint, makes me the welder I ain’t yet for sure.

Heading out the door to take the Doll for a hair appointment. Going to be 0 today with some sun.

                      Be well, evryone.

                      • Morning and thank Rick! Not completely off the hook until the 15th.
                        Congrats on the house!

Sorry for your loss Mike! My cousins are all getting up there in age. I remember as a kid Don came over as the family always had get togethers on Sunday. This particular
week-end Mom was cleaning the storm door and had the glass out for cleaning. Anyhow we were diving through the opening like superman onto a mattress on the porch. Such fun! Well we heard a crash and Don had dived throught the window. You see Mom put the glass back in! Don had just a couple small cuts on his arms. Lucky fellow, could have been fatal.

Now later I drank clorox ...yeah another happy story except I had to get my stomach pumped....I'll spare the details.

Jerry: Are you tired of driving back and forth to these things?

Karl: Started seeing clearly about Jan 20 the rain started.

Primed and painting barrels as of late. Testing my steadiness.

Fort Knox again messed my script up. Still waiting. The automated system went down Monday. When I went to make the pick-up Tuesday they explained
that they had to extract my script from fax and of course one was lost so I'm filling it at Kroger and make a co-pay to avoid Fort Knox. OMG so POed!
Just last month I wrote my congressman complaining about the BS there. Still waiting on document from them.

                        Have a great day!

                        • Good morning from a changed Wisconsin. Very wet yesterday till around 3 and it became very nice. More nice weather today.

Hockey maybe at 4 and definitely at 8. Terry leaves for Maui tomorrow for a week or so. She will do the walk through with my brother’s contractor as his place is finished tomorrow. He is with the girlfriend as she goes through her chemo. Terry is hopeful our place will start this month. The contractor wants to give his crew a few weeks off…

Modeling has become an after thought as the family, hockey activity and outdoors has become the priority.

                          Mike, condolences for the cousin

                          Enjoy your day

Partly cloudy and headed for a high of 78°, I'll take that every day.

Thanks for cracking the seal again Rick.
Sounds like everything is going your way this morning. ( I miss the thumbs up emote)
Good luck computer shopping, I could use an upgrade myself.

Karl, that is one of my all time favorite oldies.

Mike, sorry to hear of your loss.

I've been breaking rock.... in the.... hot sun.
I fought the law.... and the.... law won. lol

I've been going over my shale work, and using existing bits or snapping bits of shale to fill in empty spots, as well as carving some foam trying to tidy up my rock work around the creek.

A few chores and a couple errands and I hope to fiddle around some more on it today.

                                Enjoy the day everyone!
