Good morning Crew. The Ashpit coffee is hot and ready. The soft drinks, teas, milk and waters are at the end of the line. Easy breakfast this morning. 4” pancakes with real Wisconsin Maple Syrup and the chemical sugar free stuff from the factory. Meats are a choice of thick cut, not deli, ham and or bacon from Nutzekes. The bread is my fresh baked out of the ovens at 6 this morning, sourdough.

Today’s plans are set. My therapist for the mind at 9:30, the trainer will be here at noon and the pool guy will check in around 3-5 this afternoon. In the mean time I hopefully will get some pulp loads finished for the pulp cars. Finally got outside in nice weather to pick up some branches.

    Enjoy your day, be safe

Hi again. I seemed to have lost 2 pictures to go with the opening. I use canopy glue as it dries clear and will not be noticeable between the pulp sticks. Finished loads tomorrow, I hope!

Good morning Tom and the rest of the crew. We have a cloudy day, high near 7 0 with rain moving in this evening here in S.E. Michigan.

You have a nice pulp load going there, Tom.

Besides working on the Wheel Works kit, I also decided that it was time to add more painted LP to the collection. Here are some 29 with flash removed and ready for paint. They are a mix of Model Power, Preisser, and even some old Plasticville figures.

Good morning RR-L Crew. Had my Oatmeal breakfast earlier. Sorry I haven't been on lately but going through some serious medical issues right now. Won't go in to details except that I'll have blood drawn at 11 am Good Friday morning. Hope that's a good omen as 2 days after Easter I go in for out patient surgery to remove a cancerous left testicle that's swollen quite large. So far it hasn't spread. All I want to to is RISE from the gurney when the anasetisia wears off. [grin]

Looking at all I have around here to move out. Have a new 3D printer still in the sealed shipping box and also a Wash and Cure machine still in the sealed shipping box. Bought those when I thought the company was sold and all equipment would be gone. Need something to play with. If I don't sell Rusty Stumps soon I may open a new website to sell the 3D STL files of the scale detail parts. We'll see how it goes. Out the garage I have all kinds of stuff to move out from resin casting equipment to wood working equipment. Collected too much over the years I guess. [laugh]

Everyone have A fun day in the Train Yard

Walt, I'm sure there's a Easter 'rise' joke in there somewhere. Seriously, good luck!

Sunny and warm today. I -should- do some yardwork. At least I got my geology paper done yesterday (it was due this morning.) One of my references was a book chapter I found on the Internet. But I couldn't find the title page for that book! Fortunately, I was able to get the bibliographic information from the 'references' section of another paper that also quoted that chapter. And I spent an hour or so fighting the word processor programs. It should NOT be so hard to position a graphic -and its caption- together on the page!

"It should NOT be so hard to position a graphic -and its caption- together on the page!" There are a host of tricks for doing that, the first being to go back in time to when word processor programs still had all of their useful functions.

Dave, thanks. Just want to come around yet again. I've beat the odds a number of times and want to continue with that streak of luck.

Well, I still think Scribe (a mark-up language and 'document compiler') is still my favorite approach for preparing complex documents. The last really functional version of MS Word was Word 5, which came on something like 25 single density 3 1/2" floppy disks...

Sun and not cold here in MI this morning, but that’s going south on us soon. Clouds and rain later, probably by the time I get in gear. Suddenly there is a ton of work. All the rain we’ve had the green stuff is growing.

Apple in its infinite wisdom gave us, inflicted on us, a total rearranging of the keyboard has made typing a complete task. The apostrophe is hidden so I have to search or hope spell check inserts one. Maybe it’s just this iPad but…oh well. Bow down to the infinite wisdom of the gods of Cupertino and their slavish followers.

It’s later in the day and I’ve changed to the older iPad PRO and my apostrophe remains in it’s place two places to the right of “l”, so who knows. Must be the larger screen

Hobby time has been cancelled. Lots to do. Everyone have a fine day.

Walt, maybe a pinch of yeast the morning of your procedure will aid the rising… best to you.

Thanks Karl but not allowed to have anything that morning. I've gone through this a good number of times so just hoping this one isn't different.

Another Monday morning and I need more coffee............NOW!

Cold enough to have fire last night and looks like at least another night this week that will be true, so I'll be be out lugging firewood in later today. Yardwork and gardening is on hold pending nights that do not dip into frost/freeze temps; was hoping to get all the plants under the lights out this week, but no.

Into the shop today to pound out some progress on that final Challenge car and all the other ongoing projects. Got another book to finish so a trip to the library is on for tomorrow for sure.

Getting set/packed up for the Strasburg O scale meet on the 23rd; Outback full of cars brass and otherwise........clearing space and maybe time as well.
