  • Monday (First Full Day of Spring) Lounge

Good morning from S.E. Michigan where it is 34 degrees and heading up to the upper 50's under mostly sunny skies. This will be the warmest and nicest day of the week.

Breakfast includes sticky buns, hot and cold cereals, and plenty of hot Steam Dome Blend coffee.

I got a number of small items finished on the Coal Tipple yesterday. After some errands this morning, I hope to be back at the modeling bench this afternoon.

    What is on your agenda?

Good morning Bruce and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening up the lounge this morning Bruce. It is the best way to start off the day with a chat and cup of brew.

45 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island today. Weather is at least warmer and spring has sprung.

Got some railroading to do today, so back at the bench.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. I'll see you all on the RR-L Forum.

Good morning, the NH seacoast is sunny but winds out of the NW will blow in colder tonight and tomorrow. I have bills to pay and model vegetation to plant, but I may have to put my newly-minted video editing skills to use. I'll know shortly if the original files can be gotten in time.

Good morning Bruce, Louis and the inbound Crew members. A nice but overcast day in my part of Wisconsin. Heading into the 70’s. Just finished my ham and eggs scrambled with wonder 12 grain wheat. Boring… Would prefer a sticky bun so someone enjoy one for me.

It is Down Sydrome Day today and our 10 year old granddaughter is coping very well. She is very smart and she works very hard to accomplish what she has. On top of that she is such a loving kid. It just amazes me when I see other parents who don’t know her be so nasty to her.

Trains. I am working on feeders and soldering them today. I am waiting for 10 pulp cars to be weathered to arrive from a FB friend. I had pulled off the layout 13 cars to be weathered but these will wait until I finish the pulp cars.

          Enjoy your day

Good Monday morning Bruce and the rest of the RR-L Crew. Seeing everyone is giving their weather report I'll give mine. Here in central Indiana it's 55 deg. and sunny out. Going to the upper 60's today but bad weather heading this way later in the week.
I'm busy running three 3D printers doing the first prints of a LARGE order from Steve. This'll take me probably 2 weeks to finish. Thus is my retirement. [grin]

Thanks Jerry. I keep escaping the Grim Reaper.
I'm still Commander of the 4th Degree Honor Guard and also have other positions. They won't let me quit any of it. [laugh]
I won't go into the latest issues but we both had a reaction to a prescription med that set us back quite a bit.
I've been trying to sell off Rusty Stumps but each time they find it's way more than they can handle, or want to. Talking with the third interested fellow but not sure it's going to go anywhere. Such is life.

Looks like we have 2 nice days n a row to start the week, so I have a bit of painting to do and a bit of yardwork. Might even think about getting the batteries out for the mower......okay, that's enough thinking!

Stuff to do in the office and shop are going to step down a notch until Wed.

Off to the grocery and looking at a few 100" of flooring for the house in Pa. Have to visit the loan officer probably,
