I have been a member of this forum since 2007 and decided this week that it was time for me to start a thread on my layout the Superior and Seattle Railroad. I plan to post pictures of the structures that make up the scenes on my layout in this thread. Once I have caught up with the structures that have been completed and planted on the layout , I will update this thread with pictures of each new structure that is added to the layout.

Most of you will recognize these two structures as Bob VanGelder's first two South River Model Works kits. These two mills are on the mountain side over looking a large town that is currently in the design stage. I'm working on the layout for the town and will soon start building the structures.Last edited by jsiekirk; 04-20-2022, 09:07 PM. -

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I need to get some pictures processed to make use of the display capabilities here on this forum. I really like the ability to post the larger more detailed pictures. My plan for now is to post detailed pictures of the structures on the layout, as I complete them, but I would be happy to answer any questions that you might have about techniques used or any thing else that comes up as you view the photographs. I have about 40 structures completed at this point so I have lots of posts to get caught up with my layout build progress.Comment

I'm looking forwards to your threads here.
I went to have a look at your updates on the other site. I can't see any updates. To me there is no activity since the 2nd Feb. I tried logging out and back in again, and now can't log back in at all. I'm guessing its the same for others.
