    Ore / Coal chute (Reviewed)

    A new product from www.micromimesis.com in 1/48 scale.

    The door can be closed or open as there is just enough
    wiggle room. I did add a piece of brass for added strength.
    A landing will be added. Not sure but perhaps a ladder or steps?

      Those sure hold up well even in the close shots....beats anything I've ever been able to print.

        Philip, being able to create parts like you've done with the gates, is what got me interested in 3D printing. Sadly, I blindly rushed in and purchased a FDM printer. After seeing your work, I am encouraged to pursue resin. First, I need to master CAD. ~mike

            Thanks guys. Mike this chute rendering is Ed's work not mine. He uses sketch-up.
            Your FDM printer will be useful in some applications needing strength. Not a loss but an advantage. Plus a huge print table.

                Philip I think they just used ladders to get to the chutes.

                I think just the one had a platform.

                I have the plans for the Hukill Gold Mine if you want I'll take a picture of the print and post it for you.

                    Philip, I like ladders, steps take up a lot of real estate and I think were mostly used for high traffic areas. ~mike
