  • Prototype logging loco

    In case no one has seen it, here is a link to a Climax working loco.

    There was a two truck standard gauge Climax rebuilt south of me about 50 miles some years ago but I never had a chance to see it in operation. It is now in West Virgina I believe.

    The Climax is actually #1694 running on 'Puffing Billy Rails' in Victoria, Australia. It is one of the few 2'6" gauge locos ever built.

      Yes, I meant to put the link in my first message but all I did is copy and paste the title.

      I posted the video in another mrr group and some old guy responds with Climax loco, diesel engine.

      He never took time to carefully listen.
