Good evening, all. The NH seacoast was colder but sunny most of the day. We turned a crown re-installation into a morning at the Boston Museum of Science, a Japanese lunch and simultaneous shopping at both Charles Ro (me) and an Asian market (remainder of the family). My evening went towards research on transit vehicle dimensions for Seashore. Tomorrow morning early I'll take my toolbox to the HUB's NEMTE show in Marlboro, MA.

Mike, don't know how much longer your going to be out there, but... There is a nice small museum up at Snowqualmie, WA to check out. They were rebuilding engines and cars up in their shop...interesting.

Good morning. It's a cloudy 42F on the Olympic Peninsula with no forecasts of rain currently.

We did about six miles of walking trails amidst Douglas Firs, Aspen, and Red Cedar at Lake Crescent. One trail was an old logging grade so there was some up and down. The weather cooperated with no rain and a good time was had by all.

Today's activities will be along similar lines, I just don't know where yet.

Sad news about Mario and Pete's friend.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Mike

Good morning guys and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening the lounge Jim, now a breakfast burrito, that is the way to go. I always look forward to our daily chat and cup of brew.

It is 40 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island, the littlest State in the Union. We still holding back from that dreaded snow fall.

My railroad track Vacuum Boxcab is nearing its completed state. I enjoyed this build for many reasons.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. See you all on the RR-Line Forums.

I all too frequently get lost in time, George. That I might know it's Friday is easier than knowing what plane of existence within the multiverse that I currently reside on....

    Mornin' All!

34, headed to 37 and very grey here in the northern mitten. Today's e-mail stack noted that a friend is now failing and in hospice care, and here I see that we've lost Mario. Sad news all around me.... Best wishes to friends and family and may that westbound streamliner bring joy to those aboard and condolences to those of us left behind.

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

    Pete
    in Michigan

<edit>: The friend caught the same train Mario did. They're discussing model railroading on the way west... RIP Gentlemen!

Good morning Jim and the rest of the crew. It is 34 degrees with occasional snow flurries here in S.E. Michigan. We will stay in the 30's all day.

It was indeed sad to hear of Mario's passing. He was a long time member of the forum.

Off for a little Christmas shopping in Frankenmuth. I have to pick up some Christmas Town Ale from the Frankenmuth Brewery and some Pfeffenusse Cookies from the bakery in town as well.

It is good to see members sharing their modeling accomplishments from this past year in our newly revived Photo Gallery. If you haven't done so already, I urge you to post some of your own.

    Have a great day!

Good morning, Jim and crew. Thanks for the reminder, Martin. Being retired, I never know what day it is.

It's going to be in the 60's here in Tidewater, Virginia. After a walk, I have some freight cars to tinker with on the workbench.

    Have a good day.
    George

Snow flying this morning, may be joined and mingled with rain as the day progresses, it that's what one calls it.

    Enjoy and take care all..

Hot tea with a poppy seed bagel filled with ham and brie.

Nothing on the agenda so I have time in the shop and reading time available to me all day.........until otherwise ordered.

Maybe later go out and rake the backyard just for the air.

started a topic Friday morning lounge

    Friday morning lounge

Good morning all from 45f and overcast N.E. Indiana. Sad news in the forum today with the passing of Mario Rapinett.

The coffee urn is READY with Ashpit blend. The special is a breakfast burrito. Oatmeal pot is fresh, and the other beverages are at the end of the line.

I put up several curtain rods yesterday, while the printer was busy. I spent most of the day reading old magazines. I did assemble some parts of an off the wall project I've been toying with.

    Have a Super day!
