Good morning all from 30f and clear N.E.Indiana. The coffee urn has signaled READY with Dispatcher's blend. The special is California Zephyr +French toast and bacon. The oatmeal pot is at the end of the line, if your not up to the special. Other beverages alongside of the oatmeal.

I worked on my Caboose kit yesterday and as expected, split the grooved siding wall right where I expected. The window cutout is about a 1/16" from the top edge. A little help from Aleene and it looks OK this morning. I'll find time to work a little more on it today.

No big plans here, good day to keep away from Walmart, and Kroger's. Plenty to do around here, like finding nails in the grass. A big magnet on the end of a pole has been active.

    Have a Super day!

29 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island today.
I guess I'll be doing some more work on my vacuum car project.
Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. See you all on the Forum.

Good morning all, the early sunshine has quickly been covered by a rapidly progressing bank of several more shades of grey It’s time to get headed to the annual eye check, see how far off white cane time is.

          Everyone have a great day

27 this morning here in No. Va......and any part of the veg garden that was still standing isn't. Something to clear later today. Another coffee or 3 and I'll be good to start looking for the clutch pedal so I get myself in gear.

Got to pack up an eBay sale and then tackle 85 pages of galley proofs; red ink time!

Will try to get into my shop for eye and brain breaks from that "fun",

Leaf Vac/Chipper may be dead; got 3 uses out of it and they are having trouble fixing the oil leak..... Oh well, I'm still in working order and do know how to use a rake.

Good morning to the entire crew. It is sunny and 33 degrees here in S.E. Michigan. It will be another day of preparing for our Thanksgiving dinner and visitors.

The yard is ready for winter and the outdoor Christmas decorations are up.

Bonnie has a Raisin Bread baking in the breadmaker. It will disappear quickly once the grandkids arrive.

              Have a great day!

Good morning, Jim and crew. We're packing up for a trip to our son's house for Thanksgiving. We're having a full family gathering later in the weekend to celebrate his 60th birthday. Damn, I'm feeling old!

                Have a good day.

                  Mornin' All!

46, headed for 48 under the fraying grey blanket here in the northern mitten. Clouds today, add in some rain tomorrow and then the frozen fun begins just in time for the Friday Morning Gimmee-Gimme Marathons. Celebrate your blessings tomorrow and then get into shoving and shouting matches on Friday to accumulate more stuff.... I don't understand....

Made a little (operative word) bit of progress attempting to stuff wires back into a small switcher last night. New decoder replaced a blown one, but now the wires don't want to go back in the dark and play nice. Very rude of them.... I shall have to talk sternly to them....

And while picking up tomorrow's dinner from the food co-op this morning I was reminded yet again about how blessed we are to have this hobby and all that goes with it. Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Good morning, crew. It’s a 41F in foggy Portland. It will stay in the forties today. Perfect day for coffee and oatmeal. Thanks for opening Jim.

We are off to the art museum shortly. Indoor activities today. We did manage to get in a walk yesterday.

I hope everyone has a great day.

                    Mike

Good evening all (twilight is completely gone here). The sun got us up to 41F today, headed back down to 30-ish overnight. Today was bill paying and firewood carrying, but I do have a few pictures to post next. Tomorrow morning I'll cook cranberry sauce and Boston Brown Bread for the feast.

I spent some time on my Roman Architecture project, until I got to my frustration limit with SketchUp. In the process, I discovered a 'bug' in the drawings from the book I'm using. (He had some rafters that were not sitting on the wall....) Then I ran to the store to get some last minute stuff for Thanksgiving, and finally did some work on my gasholder. This is the N scale kit, but after reworking the walkway, I think it looks fine as an HO scale small tank.

Nicely done, Dave, but that location in the middle of the yard might prove problematic some fine day....

It's just waiting for the switcher to couple up and haul it to its final location...
