      Well thanks much George. But, you and I both know back in the day, Kirby & Dyson never heard of any kind of safety rules, they would just be replaced if they got overwhelmed.

              Louis and George,

              As a friend mentioned yesterday when I was asking about tank car unloading facilities at early 1950s paper mills, "Don't worry about it... the Environment hadn't been invented yet." Unfortunately, he was right.... Kirby & Dyson are on their own....

                Conformance is simply how a well a model matches a prototype or prototype practice. Your imagination and engineering puts you in the class of nonconformists like Van Gogh, for instance.

                    Ah, thanks Mike for the explanation, I should of known, I've been a nonconformists since grade school. I did manage to keep my ear in tack though.

                      Well Louis, you've certainly come up with something different again.
                      Very strange beast. I know we need to keep our model railroad rail clean, but never thought real trains would have to worry about it.
                      Your build is excellent, and will actually really work. Certainly more detailed than John Allen's old slider cars.
                      I've enjoyed following along. Will be interested to see how it goes over time.

                      I wonder what wacky contraption you'll come up with next. Always thinking outside the box.

                            I thank you very much Rob for your comments and kind thoughts. If it is unusual, than that's for me. I did enjoy building this one, a lot of research went into it, but well worth the effort.
                            I do have one of those John Allen type sliders in my cleaning train, it was one of the first found to work well. I was surprised to find the Prototype rail cleaner. That has to be noisy for sure.
                            I think I'm done with the wacky now for awhile. Thanks again for following along and posting your thoughts and comment.
