Hi -- Has anyone managed to remove the boiler from the frame on a MTH H8 2-6-6-6? I have it loose after removing 2 hidden screws on the top; But it only partially lifts at the back and it is hung up near the front. It looks like I need to either remove the front plate or some piping to get enough clearance around the right running board. Could not find anything useful at MTH or posted elsewhere online. UPDATE: I just did this am get the shell off. A portion of the left ladder behind the shell under the cab needed to be bent flush with the shell so that the ladder could just slip past the frame. Once separated at the back I could maneuver it enough to break free at the front. Now to see what it will take to replace the smoke unit with a speaker and replace the decoderComment
