  • Sunday morning Lounge

Good late morning all! Too much activity yesterday and into the late evening. The coffee urn is READY with Railbender blend in the to go cups. Brunch is at 'The Greek's'. Karl has been honking the horn from the crew van. James is out directing traffic from our excursion route. I'll tell you all out the fine 'deals', from yesterday's train show later.

    See you at the restaurant.

Good morning, Jim and crew. Our open house starts at noon, so after a few chores here, I'll be heading to the club. We had a good turnout yesterday and expect the same today.

    Have a good day.

Greetings from the Greeks, great Coffee from the silver Grecian Urn…Parthenonian Perk. Sausage, American fries, cooked in the fat from the crispy bacon, gravy from the sausage fat ready to smother the hot fist sized biscuits just out of the kiln. Eggs as you wish. Red-eye gravy from the Virginia country ham. Oats off in the pot down the line. Tea, diet cola or Dr. P and juices as well.

Glad the open house is going well, George. Folks are eager to venture out before real winter comes along.

Sad to see your team fall so flat on their collective, a$$e$ on national,TV.

No big plans today, yet, not thinking sports will be among them.

        Be well, all.

35 this morning; coffee x's 2 and an everything bagel stuffed with leftover cheese steak topped with Brie.....just writing that makes my cholesterol go up, Will have to rake leaves today to pay for for that indulgence.....

Another day in the office and shop, some NMRA stuff to process, and then it's recliner time with a cold beverage, football (no doubt more disappointment there...), and another book to read... Probably better to just take a nap.

And now SWMBO'd came up with a Christmas display projects that we will be doing......"we" Got to clear 1/2 of my shop and find some tools I've not used in an eon or two............so the cars being built have to be completed and cleared, the structure I was just getting started in on has to get set aside, and the East Lake frame I was working on restoring has to be completed, too. Why did I retire again????

Good morning, crew. Thank you for opening, Jim.

It's a beautiful sunny 41F on the coast of Oregon. Tide's coming in. We will do some hiking later, then drive back to Portland. generally it will be a day of relaxation.

            Have a great day!

            Mike
