    Google Ads

    Hey Railroad Gang, received an email from google that if i didnt re-enable my google ad account on the forum it would be terminated... not that i really made any real revenue from it, it was a real PITA to set up the account. so, you should all be seeing ads popping up again shortly. Not sure how its going to work going forward.. i will eventually set up memberships again so if you do a paid subscription you wont see ads .. but we will see how it shakes out !

    Thanks for letting us know. Just logged in and saw these ads and thought we were hacked again

              LOL sorry guys.. im trying to minimize the pain ( config ads so they arent in your face so much ) but the software is clunky and its 1 am... ill circle back tomorrow

                  Same here as Rick said. Last evening the ads were missive crazy taking up a lot of the page. This morning I don't see any Joe. So maybe you worked in some magic. Thanks in advance for anything you do Joe.

                        Same here. I use AdBlock Plus and no ad's any where to be seen.

                            The ads don't show on my computer either, but one problem I had last night was the forum was completely down, and I couldn't log on.
                            I was thinking Joe, that you might have been doing site maintenance? I was getting a message that I couldn't connect to the server...

                              Rich, yes was up late doing an off hour job for a client and saw the opportunity to do a site wide disaster recovery image . finished up after 2:00 am

                              Back at it this morning at 7:00 so im a lil bleary right now..
