  • Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge

Morning everyone. I haven’t been active on RRlines forums for some time and miss the group we use to have here. It is nice to see a few familiar names. I’m kind of testing the waters as I stopped posting years ago the process to post photos became difficult to navigate from a phone, especially after the Photobucket debacle.
Anyways, I have been working on a modular version of the Southern Pacific’s narrow gauge line in the open deserts of California’s Owens Valley for the past few years. Currently the layout is in storage while I am restoring a vintage Land Cruiser in the garage, but I when I have the time I have been enjoying virtual modeling using Photoshop:

One of the secrets of posting pics, is that after you select a pic within acceptable size limits, it shows up at the bottom of the page. It's outside and below of the actual post area . You should see a list of size options in red. Choose the size you want to be posted. Try to preview the post. Sometimes weird stuff happens though. Save it if you are happy. Hope this helps at least somewhat.

Had to look twice there, at first I thought it was a prototype photo. Very well done.

David-I appreciate the tips on inserting and formatting pics. I’ll toyaround with that next post.

Thanks again. About the cat-found her abandoned in our shed and the wife decided to feed her and here we are…she does seem to like the Southern Pacific narrow gauge though, so there is that.

Looks like a Maine Coon cat from the fur and markings. Very pretty cat.
