      Very nice, Dave. Tall and straight, as it should be.

      Have you seen one of these in real life? I'm wondering how they look after a number of years. Do they rust?

        Thanks Scott! Have fun making a stack. They look better on the model than in the photos. Viewing from 2 feet away really adds to the model.
        Thanks Mike! Yes the stacks can turn a a nice rust patina color if not repainted.

              Thanks for the heads-up, I just read through the entire build. I even found that I had posted to it earlier.
              You're looking GOOD but I'm looking BAD. This old brain seems to be going down hill.

              Anyway, The structure is looking real good and your techniques and SPS are top rate, I WIIL BE FOLLOWING ALONG.

                      The water tank is a condensed milk can wrapped with construction paper. The balsa strips were stained with alcohol and paint mixture and applied to the can.

                      25 lb. block ice (5.5”wide x 14” long x 11” high to fit the old style home ice box units) was cut from a white candle.
