Here's a couple pictures of the proposed placement of the three buildings and the loading docks.

In the above picture, Building C (on the left), can either be placed as it is in the foreground, or it can be placed alongside (longest length of the building), on a 90 degree turn, and go along the loading dock. I'm not sure which placement I will pick yet.

In the above picture, what appears like a wooden "railing" sitting atop the main stone building, is the steel floor joists that will be added to the underside of the stone overhang to support the structure ......."Bernd"... that you mentioned in an earlier post.

Wondering which takes more time, the modeling or prepping the photographs for posting.
      Dave B,

Thanks for following and your continued support. Well, I guess it's the posting of these projects that is real time consuming, as I have gotten nothing done since I decided to post again from last night !! I can't believe how long it takes.

Rich, that's one of the reasons I only post once, or at most twice, a week......

Thanks, I'll check that out. I've been looking around the internet and found a few shelf layouts I like. Not sure yet what to do.

I thought you were painting?? .. or did you finish ??
You gonna build that kit in a new forum post, hint, hint..

I'm "multi-tasking". Paint, prepare modeling table while paint dries, check to see if paint is dry, back to modeling table............................................. ...

Ya, but I'm going to be smarter this time and build and take pictures right to the end and then post. And it will be in the "craftsman" forum. It'll be a while yet.

I've heard many times the expression " Character is doing the right thing even when no one is around to see it"

Your structures always have great character.

Boards under decks and roofs, that will never be seen, is a good example of the character of your builds. Amazing stuff.

Honored to call you a friend.

I joined this forum in 2010 and since then I have met some of the world's best modelers, and some that have become close friends, and some that I will never meet in person, and perhaps a few bad apples. Most people are willing to share their skills with others and this is one of the aspects of this great hobby of ours.

I spent most of my adult life building structures in real life and building structures in miniature is no different. Some think they can't build anything if it isn't a kit. I highly disagree with that. When I research for ideas for projects, I stumble upon some of the most amazing models and wonder how I can do better with mine. With each one I make, I try my best to make the next one better.

This is one of the best forums for information, modeling, and just "chatter", if that's what life is about. All of this forums members have something to offer and it is most enjoyable to be a part of it all. Each one of you is an expert with what you achieve and don't give up. If they gave out awards for friendship, we all would be honored.

Thanks for following Carl, Bernd, Dave B., and Jim
