A sunny 41 with a high of 60 here in New York. Busy morning with a trip to Home Depot early for metal
to have the soffits done next week then to the grocery store to pick things up for Easter Dinner. Speaking of
Easter the decorations are all up. Maybe some bench time later.

Good morning Rick, Jerry, and all incoming crew. Thanks for the usual chat and cup of brew this morning Rick.

We are at 47 degrees and rain this morning here in Rhode Island, and temps should rise some throughout the afternoon with rain to continue.

Again, not sure what I'll do today, so maybe some bench time will happen, than again like yesterday it never happened.

Rain but “warm” in MI this morning and most of the day. 47^o to start off. Yesterday turned out to be much nicer than anticipated. Cold again the next bit of the ‘coaster ride.

Yes Rick, there IS paint in the closet. This is actually the pantry off the kitchen. Of course I didn’t do it right…

No big plans today. We’ve talked with our Indian guide in da Yoop and he recommended waiting a couple more weeks before heading up. He said it’s going to be pretty messy up there.

Rick, Jerry, the convention planning is going well. Still a couple of months till the convention but things are already falling into place. This is a very short planning time as we only had 3-1/2 months to get this organized, the other conventions I have been in charge of, I had over a year to plan. This is also my first virtual convention I have planned. Needless to say, it's a different learning curve. Spent last evening trying to close off loose ends.

8am yesterday and they had only a few left so I grabbed what I needed.

A cloudy 47 with a high of 60 here in New York with some rain here and there. Well doesn't look
like we'll be eating eggs too much anymore.....the prices have "sky rocketed" to $3.09 for a dozen
large....."egg flu" so they say....ya right. Not sure what's on the agenda for today so we'll see.

Thanks for the health queries, I am still here. Spent the morning in bed and skipped today's shopping trip. Sore muscles and joints abound today. It is still raining, so that probably contributed to the soreness. Skinned knees are healing nicely, though. I'll survive, .

Good afternoon. Just awake from a quick afternoon nap. Heading out in about an hour for NYC a place I have just never warmed up to.

90’s yesterday in Austin, 40’s in Wisconsin, 50’s in NYC. Hopefully back on the plane by noon Thursday heading home to Wisconsin for me.

Terry is with my sister and brother waiting to hear from a doctor. My brother’s girlfriend is in surgery right now in Arizona. Almost a last minute thing as we found out Sunday. One of the 3 of us has always been there for the others major medical events. She is not truly family but that is the brother being stupid. I could not delay this stupid disposition as the other side has been delaying for about a year. If I get on the plane later I want every ounce of blood the attorneys can get. Our attorneys want a settlement and finally the other side realize what it may cost them if they don’t settle today.

The eastern portion of the road trip has been cancelled. Some of the friends in Florida have Covid. One of the friends in Gulf Shores decided last week he is splitting up with his wife of 48 years. We didn’t want to deal with that!

We visited by plane OKC, Ok. and Independence, Mo. on Sunday, Monday and yesterday as Terry was looking at some horses. So, I Uber’ed to Midwest Model Trains in Independence outside of KC. What a great shop, neat, well organized, huge, clean, price friendly and a great staff. I have now visited my 3 top online shops in person. Lombard Hobby, Hiawatha Hobbies and now Midwest Model Railroad.

OKC was a nice visit. We stayed in Bricktown and went to the Cattlemens Steakhouse Cafe for dinner in the Stock Yards. Seemed very run down from our last visit before Covid. The steak though made up fit the atmosphere. The Murrah Center Memorial in OKC is fine. It just has no sense of awe to me. I think it’s me not the site. Independence, Mo. is also where the Truman Presidential library is and that was a good planned portion of the trip. But, closed till 9am today. I misread the website. I flew from KC to Madison and Terry flew to Phoenix. Yes, she purchased some horses and I restrained myself at the hobby shop.

Wed eve. With all the grumbling and griping about cruddy weather I thought that I'd give credit to the fine totally clear sky that appeared from W to East today mid afternoon. OF course that was just another sucker hole as here at 7:30p it has clouded up and the forecast for tomorrow is"Thunderstorms and FROZEN precipitation" which should be interesting.

Today was de ja vu, yes Rick there is paint in the closet.....better job this time.... so I was told.

TomO, so, let me get this straight, 3 Walthers Hoppers and a box of "rolled steel" equals how many horses?

Getting permission from whomever is the executor of the estate would be able to grant copyright rights.
But I don't know if Joe is willing to migrate Mario's website here.

Ron, I'm sure you'll do a great job with the virtual convention.

Lot's of big progress happening here today.
Sheetrockers will be here this morning to finish a small wall in the basement.
Carpet in two bedrooms will be installed as well.
'If it stops raining I can get some painting done outside.
I'm on vacation next week and hope to have the house listed then.

It's been raining here and remains cloudy this morning. Hoping it will clear this afternoon. High forecast at 68F and sunny.

Today's activities include aircraft museum and fire station tours. Grandson will get a kick out of both. Tonight it's steak, baked potatoes, asparagus, and salad.

Got to dash to make breakfast...
