    • Good morning Rick, Tom, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee Rick. Not sure what my next project is yet, might be making the roof for the Lumber shed. I also have to paint the details for the office area on the second floor.

Tom, glad you enjoyed the train show.

Jerry, when are you going to show is what you are working on?

Larry, now that the food is done (congratulations by the way) you can now get back to modeling.

      Have a great day everyone.

      • Morning everyone

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.
Just put a couple more logs on the fire!

It's still cold here in South Jersey sunny/30!

Ron you going to do the scenery around the shed or wait on that??
What you've done so far is great!!

I'll try to get my thread going later today.

I hope the rest of the guys get to do what they want today.

        Everyone have a wonderful day!!

        • Logs on the fire as it’s getting cooler and feels damp in here. Adult beverages are at the bar, soda, wines and teas are in the cooler under the counter.

It hit 53f degrees in my portion of Wisconsin. Tomorrow if we hit 30 we will be lucky but at the same time they are calling for a ice storm Monday afternoon into the evening on Tuesday. If it’s below the freezing mark of 32 should it be snow in the forecast?

          Enjoy the evening

          • Good evening Tom,

I'll sit by the fire a bit. Spent the evening weathering the last of the fences and mad some corrugated material. Just going to enjoy the warmth before going off to bed.

            Have a great evening everyone.

            • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and an assortment of cold sodas are ready for your enjoyment.

Sunny, with a high near 56.

Tom and Ron, wish I could have joined you around the fire.

              Jerry, what's today plan.

Karl, isn't that usually how it is with basketball?

Mike, Philip, Louis and Larry, how re things with you?

Presidents Day so working a holiday schedule.
Start later and finish later and four trains instead of two.
              But, the money is good.

Some warmer temps today but I'm seeing s$#@ in the forecast later this year.

              Have a great day everyone.

                • Sun and 30s going to 40s in MI A 2 day roller coaster of warmer and, unfortunately, wetter/icy befor a near week long plunge back to 20s. Yes, gents, t’is still Winter. Ice jams and flooding reported in several area locations.

Yes Rick, hoops is a roller coaster, the crybabies from A2 will be in the news today, their superstar coach felt he was “bein’ dissed” and ended up slapping one of the coaches from TomO’s neighborhood. Real 13% move. Ought to be out.

Watched most of the Daytona 500 which was ok, nice to see a fresh new face pick up the Harley Earl…still miss seeing “real” stock cars, but then I miss Alco FAs, NYC Niagara’s and the Lone Ranger..

I may get out awhile today, not sure. Other option is the bench or listing stuff on eBay. Oh the choices…

                  Everyone have a fine day.

                  • Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the coffee. Don't spend all that extra money in one place; of course after
                    Uncle Sam gets his.

Ron thanks; I'm quite pleased that the floor is done and so are my back and knees. Have
                    fun at the bench.

Jerry enjoy your Mall walk, good practice for the stress test which I hope goes well for
you. Looking forward to your new thread.

Karl your like I am....when Syracuse U plays I usually only watch the last few minutes
of the game and my heart appreciates it too.

Rest of the Crew hope you're all doing well.

A sunny 41 this morning with a high of 55 here in New York....think I'll take the Mrs out to
dinner later. Didn't get to the bench yesterday...instead I organized all of our Movies...all
470 of them by category...didn't realize we had sooooo many. Maybe I can get to the bench
                    today....have roofing to do.

Have a great day everyone. Enjoy any nice weather that may be in your neck of the woods,
                    and be well.

                      Thanks for the coffee Rick.

Jerry, basic scenery for the diorama in in my mind and will probably be done in the very near future.

Did manage some time at the workbench last evening, got the fence finished and the corrugated roofing for the lumber shed started.

                      Have a great day everyone.

                      • Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Wow, four trains. Bizzzzzy.

Jerry, good luck on the stress test. I assume it is chemical vs treadmill.

Karl, I'd opt for the bench!

Larry, those structures will get wet, they need shingles!

Ron, congrats for finishing the fence. Looking forward to photos of the shed.

I'm babysitting the flooring installers today. They are replacing flooring on bedroom. Daughter and wife are in Williamsburg. First walkthrough of our new place is tomorrow. i drove by and it looks finished on the outside. Still learning 3D cad...baby steps.

                        Have fun,

                        • Good morning Rick, Jerry, Karl, Larry, Ron, Mike, and all incoming crew. When I first checked in at 8:00, no one was around, now I retuned to find 6 members up and ready to go.
Thanks for opening up the lounge Rick for our daily chat and cup of brew to start the day off.

37 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island today. It has been a crazy February with the days temperatures going between the 20's up to the 50's from one day to the next.

Rick, it sounds like you have the good temps this morning out your way. You have to love those holiday schedules, and the pay that goes along with it. I always rather have the paid day off, instead of the time and a half where I worked.

I've been working on a FOS scale kit of the month project to place into my waterfront area.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. See you all on the RR-L Forum.

Probably, Larry, but I know just about within an inch or two where most everything is. Unless I just dropped it on the floor for the 4th time.....:-)

                          • Good morning from Wisconsin.

Not only are we the home of great cheese but the home of stupid coaches after college games are completed. That is all that played last night on the TV local news and news information commercials. It’s the second time for the guy from Michigan to hit someone in the line. No excuse! My solution fire the Michigan coach for cause, do not buy the SOB out and suspend the Wisconsin guy for just being there for the balance of the schedule and Big Ten Playoffs. F…ing jokes they both were.

I watched some of the race, I think it is the 1st NASCAR race I have watched any part of since prior to retirement in 2014. Slept through parts of it. Then worked for the 1st time in years with the airbrushes. Practiced with the 2 old single action ones and that was fine. However, the 2 new dual action ones are a definite learning curve and almost comical at times yesterday. Spent about 2.5 hours doing some airbrush exercises I was taught in the 70’s and found last week again online. Today, it’s for real. The too big with too many buildings, silos and bins will get painted and the already painted corn bins will be weathered with the airbrush.

The double action took me quite a while to master (not sure I ever mastered it). Many times I was tempted to return to the single action.

                          • Quick Karl buy something I see an empty space!!

Tom now that is a few bins to paint. I'm sure they will be exceptional when done!
