Good morning from bright and warm So. Central Wisconsin. We should get into the 80’s today.

I did text with the brother this morning and the girlfriend’s surgery went well yesterday. The Thursday PET scan indicated that the cancer has not spread. Chemo starts in about 30 days and is scheduled every 2 weeks for the next 8 months. Thank you for the well wishes. She has no family so the brother is it along with the rest of us.

If I was the Disney Company, I would shut Disney World down completely and watch Florida fall apart. Just saying…

Texas has plenty of land for them to start over!

I did spend 2 hours in the train room yesterday rearranging the paint bench. That is almost 1.75 hours longer then the last 10 days combined. Since the paint booth change I just cannot get comfortable in there!

    Enjoy your day

    Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and an assortment of cold sodas are ready for your enjoyment.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63.

Mike, smoke detector install went easier than I thought it would be.
And I used a chair instead of a ladder.

Larry, hope the rain stayed away yesterday.

    Jerry, quiet is good.

Tom, hope your brothers girlfriend surgery went well.

    Ron, did the mic arrive?

    Karl, thanks for the pictures.
The beach looks like it had a rough winter.

Got everything I wanted to do yesterday and more.
Mowed the back yard and raked up leaves and twigs in my Mom's backyard too.
Need to paint a couple of window ledges today that the dog abused.
    Later it's Dinky time.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Careful on the ladder replacing those smoke detectors. Hope you enjoy your visit with your Mom.

Ron, good luck with the new mike.

Jerry, hope you enjoy your quiet time and the bench!

Tom, that's a tough one. Glad you son is there to help her. Been through it all with wife and daughter. She will need lots of emotional support.

Karl, thanks for those terrific views of the great north. It is beautiful up there.

Kyle, Philip, Louis, et al., how goes your day?

Well, as luck would have it, we missed our tee time yesterday. Daughter had extended business meeting on north side of Atlanta and couldn't make it back in time. We have a tee time for next Thursday though. I am sorta glad because I was exhausted by 5 pm. Still sorting the pantry, but just about finished. For a break, I'll tackle the back porch and patio this afternoon. It shouldn't take long and it absolutely beautiful out. Wife and daughter are going out to eat and watch a play tonight, so SIL and I are headed to someplace good to eat; Southern or Mexican most likely. Can't wait.

Have fun and enjoy the weekend,
    mike

    Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for the java. Flowers should help the old curb appeal for sure.
Nope didn't make it outside yesterday due to the rain which wasn't suppose
to happen says the Weather Weenies; maybe today. Instead I worked on the
LP's and glued them in place,

Karl nice photo of the beach; but it "looks" cold there.

Ron good luck with the video.

Tom hope your Brother's g/f has good success with the surgery and chemo.

Jerry hope you make it to the bench today and by all means feed the pooch.

To the rest of the Crew hope all's well in your world.

A cloudy 45 with a high of 55 here in New York. I hope to make it outside for
a bit if it doesn't rain again. Not sure what the rest of the day will bring; maybe
a trip to the bench later.

Have a great day and be well!!

Good morning. Dreary and wet in my part of Wisconsin. The all day rain event I hope pushes me into the train room today.

Spoke to the brother this morning. His girl friend is having additional breast cancer surgery today. He says chemo starts in 30 days. He has made some positive adjustments to allow for her care to continue in the Phoenix area. He said he will speak to Terry in the next few days so she can take over the review of Hawaiian building complex as the chemo is a 8 month process at this time. I did ask if he wanted his SUV back from the daughter and the truck back from the son. He laughed and said no.

    Enjoy your day

Bright sun, 32 degrees with frost this morning, clouds by afternoon and temp going to 45.

Wandered around a bit yesterday. Lots of damage around the area from the ice a few weeks ago.

This tree is half on the ground…

The beach is rugged looking with sign of lots of activity over the winter the water level is down and the beach is much wider…this is South of us where a creek comes out to the lake.

    Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and an assortment of cold sodas are ready for your enjoyment.

Sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the morning.

Karl, glad you had a safe trip and have fun up north.

Jerry, enjoy your bachelor days and sorry about the car.

Mike, how was your golf game?

Ron, have fun with the video and voice over.

    Tom, any new knick knacks?

Larry, did you make it outside yesterday?

Philip, Louis and everyone else, hope you are all doing well.

Unlike yesterday I have a few things to do.
Found out I need to replace my old smoke detectors with new ones.
Bought them yesterday and I'll install them today.
While I was at the store I also bought some flowers.
Those will be planted today as well.
A visit with Mom will happen too.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee. Happy house selling; hopefully it's a quick sale.
Thanks for the nice comments on the Shack. Not much else planned? enjoy
    the time you've earned it!!

Mike have fun "swinging the sticks"; hopefully it'll all come back to you and
    enjoy the break.

Jerry great news on Diane's eye and sorry to hear about the Honda; cars don't
last forever. So you're going to be a Bachelor for a few days; you know what
    that means.....PARTYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!

Karl glad the trip up North went well. Yup the price of gas sucks!!! The price of
oil is down but we all know the Pumps won't show it for awhile. Gotta love
    the "honey do" lists.

The rest of the Crew hope you're all doing well.

It's 48 this am with a high of 55 here in New York; and of course some rain. But
it's warming up the next few days and no rain so hopefully I can get outside and
do a few things. Not sure what the rest of the day will look like.

Enjoy your day and be well!!!!!!

Good morning from beautiful So. Central Wisconsin. The sun is shining.

The modeling block is still going on. What I purchased yesterday at the LHS I put on the bench and left the room.

Terry who has been ridding the house of Knick knacks over the years wants to go shopping for that type of stuff today. This could be an interesting trip. 2 chairs ordered in June of 2021 are arriving a month early, tomorrow, Friday. We are still waiting for a floor lamp that keeps getting pushed back. It is now expected in July with the original promised date of May. Supply issues everywhere including Amish country.

    Enjoy your day

Good morning Rick, Mike, Jerry, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Rick, thanks for the coffee, and you are right, I didn't complain about the cold when I was "up North" cause I got used to it. The cold is hard to get used to when it is 70F one day and 34F the next.

Jerry, that is rotten luck about old "Nellie", hope it gets fixed quicker this time.

Not much happening here. It's seems I volunteered to make a short video, regarding our upcoming virtual convention. Need to do a voice over the Powerpoint presentation I have prepared. Ordered a recording mic from Amazon last night in order to do is as, my mike that I usually use for those things is up north.

    Have a great day everyone.

I think old "NELLIE" with a 196,000 miles on her is tired!!

    Everyone have a wonderful day!!
Jerry, that is horrible. Good luck on the repair. Mike

‘Mornin’ from the lakeshore…40 going to 50. Yesterday’s late day winds and some rain have passed on and it’s nice and relatively calm.

The trip up was uneventful and everything looks to be in good shape from the winter. It looks like the lake is down a little bit leaving more beach. We filled up near home at $3.90, it’s $4.20 and upwards here.

Just had a txt from the power company back home that the power is out, 9-1-1 txt says wires down closing the state hwy about 4 miles from the southern compound.

The Doll has a whole li$t already so the relaxing will be short lived. No hobby stuff here to interfere with important stuff.

    Everyone have a fine day.

    Be Well
