The missing have been found, the light is fixed.

Ugly weather to go along with it all. Cold by end of the day.

Rick, never a Pennsy fan, NYC went thru my home town, Pennsy was ‘foreign’, but those wrapped units look cool. Wonder how durable that stuff is on those units. That has become a popular method of decorating cars, trucks, buses and trains. Some pretty cool designs that I’m sure would cost mega bucks if they were done by a sign painter or airbrush artist. Thanks for sharing them.

TomO, enjoy the travels. I’m at the end of the road with my thumb out….

Have a good day all. Stay well.

1400 hrs: I've been "Travelling" online, found out the big Mac is CLOSED due to weather and the electricity has a widespread outage over much of the Central and Eastern UP including the area around Northern Command. On sight source also reports lots of snow still and it's rained enough he could sail his fishing boat right out of the barn, if he had someplace to go.

WOW Re: Internet…..”High Speed” DSL here in lower rural MI is a whopping 10! In the Yoop, we get twice that, if you pull the string real tight…20-25, either has an up rate in the 0.7 range. The area elec. coop has a fiber system going in , but we’re 1/10 mile outside their area. Best rate I got was on cellular with iPad ~70-90 in closer to Lansing. At 900 I could fubar stuff really quick…

    Morning everyone

Rick thanks for opening and the coffee.

It's cloudy right now in South Jersey rain later I suppose.
But it's going to be 64.

Going to work a little on my build. Waiting for a track gauge to get here somewhere in the confusion I lost both of mine.
And I need it for the track spacing on the pier.

    Ron no car yet??

Mike sounds like you have everything under control.

Tom have fun in your travels.

The rest of you guys have a nice day!!

    Everyone have a wonderful day!!

    Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Sounds like you have a busy weekend ahead. Hope your Mom is doing well. Good luck at the doc's.

Fortunately, the bad storms passed us by. It's going to me clear and nice day ahead with high of 66F.

The outlets in the pantry are for a toaster oven, instant pot, mixer, etc that will reside on built in cabinetry (to be built). It will be nice to have it off the kitchen counters. Also, an outlet for a wine fridge that I am thinking of buying. The laundry room outlet is for the 2nd refrigerator and my NAS which connects to the wall media cabinet. The outlet out back was to put an outlet near the Traeger. Also had another light installed in the garage over my woodworking tools. The electrician did a fine job. Concrete 13 X 13 patio was placed yesterday, too. Waiting for the HOA to approve the backyard fence. I hate HOA's by the way.

The Internet here is AT&T fiber and runs 1 gig up and down. Speed tests say the average up and down are in the high 900's. Fastest I have ever had.

    More unpacking today.

Have fun and stay safe all,
    mike

Good morning Rick, and the rest of the crew that drops in later. Love the Pennsy paint scheme.

Thanks for the coffee Rick, sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you.

    Tom, safe journey.

Jerry, do you have wheels yet?

Not much modeling last night as I worked late on a side project for work, but I did managed to stain/weather the siding for the outhouse. Don't think I'll get much modeling tonight as I plan to finish the side project so I can get it off my plate.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and an assortment of cold sodas are ready for your enjoyment.

Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5am. Steady temperature around 48.

Mike, extra outlets are always handy to have.

    Jerry, is the car back?

Karl, hope you found the decals and the taillight got the replaced.

Larry, hope the cleaning is finished and you can get back to the bench.

Ron, glad you made it back to VA safely.

    Tom, have a safe trip.
If you're anywhere close to Penn Station around 2PM Mon.-Wed. let me know.

Louis and philip, hope you are well.

Transit has four engines wrapped in color schemes of fallen flags that have been incorporated into the present NJ Transit.
I saw two of them yesterday.

Going to be a very busy day.
My roommate flew into town yesterday and will show up here this morning to move here stuff out.
I'm not sure how she's planned to get her stuff out since she can't carry too much let alone go up and down the stairs.
I guess I'll have to help some but I have a bunch of stuff to do today too.
Today is my usual grocery shopping day and I have a Dr's. appointment at 9:30.
Also need to go to Mom's.
And there's things I need to do around here.
Roommate wants to go to dinner later.

    Have a great day everyone.

Good early morning at 12:03am in Wisconsin.

larryc., except for the NYC stop as DC is cancelled these trips are for fun. I did the world travel for business. Working real hard NOT to have to go to NYC.

Ron, not a fan of NYC but as a Chicago boy, the big city doesn’t bother me. If we could do Broadway or eat at Peter Lugers it would be a great stop, but it is not in the cards this time

The workbench is clean as is the rest of the train room. You guys be safe and stay or get healthy while I am gone. I will check in from time to time but not daily.

for me the last log for March on the fire is going in. A nice chilled water and a banana are my snack of choice this early morning. Hot toddy’s are ready to be re-heated in the microwave

Good morning Rick, Jerry, Mike, Karl, Tom, Larry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

    Rick, thanks for the coffee.

Rick & Mike, Trip home was very very, busy and I made it back to Virginia safely.

Karl, hope you find the MIA decals.

Jerry, glad you got a clean bill of health.

Tom, have fun in the Big Apple . When I was working in Albany NY my niece was doing an internship in New York City, so I took the train from Albany to NYC to sight see, spend time with my niece and spoil her rotten. I loved going to NYC, great place to visit, wouldn't want to live there though.

Well no modeling last night as I ended up working later than usual , but I did attend a NMRA Canada virtual event, so I'm going to count it.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee. No worries about the suggestion....it's good to have a reminder.
Happy Friday by the way!!!!! Grocery shopping was a breeze although getting sick of seeing
    the prices keep going up.

Jerry congrats on a clean bill of health and hope you get the car back soon; couldn't imagine
    being without one.

Mike don't overdue on the unpacking although I'm sure you want to get it done and over with.
Can never have too many outlets in a home.

Karl hope your decals turn up soon. Your mechanic sounds about like mine....went to his Father years
ago then the Son took over when his Dad retired.....been going to him for a long time and have never
had to go back for a re-fix.

Tom your going to be a world traveler before long...have safe journeys. I have lived in New York State all my
life and have never had any urge to go to the "Big Apple"....even less so now. Love the photo...quite literal.

The rest of the Crew what's going on today?

A cloudy 30 this morning with a high of 48 and probably some rain. Helping the Mrs with some spring cleaning
before company Saturday. Not sure about the bench....maybe later.

Have a great day everyone. Keep warm and be well!!!

Good morning from the still wet So. Central Wisconsin where the rains while lighter will continue on/off today.

The SIL was told his job requires a location shift from his office at home to Oak Brook, Illinois. He won’t do it and our conversation stopped my morning swim. We are still leaving Friday morning per the son. He and Angie the G/f and copilot should be here around noon on Thursday. He has artwork from the uncle for his sister. She has a couple pieces of his.

So glad Jerry the heart is doing well. Rick, yes, a business adventure into New York City. I have been trying for months to get out of this. We sued a contractor who was remodeling the brownstone the niece was living in. Finally it’s coming to a conclusion. I am not looking forward to 2 nights in New York. Mike, it sounds like a tough gig but many of the stops are to see friends and that softens it. It’s always fun to eat different foods then we normally have.

    enjoy the day

40s today, may go to 50 or so with wind and "just plain rain, oh and a slight chance of severe thunderstorms...." typical March day in the mitten, with your mittens. Looking out the window, it's really windy. It really rained at times most of the evening and thru bed time.

Spent the day looking for my Kentucky Southern decals, one of the joys of doing some cleaning up of the work area. Some other decals were found, late in the day, but still mia the ones I need. Have some more made up I guess.

The body shop called yesterday and they have the tail light in to replace the one I backed the Deere into clearing off the last snow. App't at 1 to get it taken care of. Decent 2nd generation shop I worked at a couple years after I retired.

Everyone enjoy the day, Mike go EZ on the unpacking. I'm sure the extra outlets will be welcome. How's the internet service there? I like the sunspots idea, beats the early onset of mental dyspepsia.

Time to run, everyone have a fine day.

    Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for coffee. Happy weekend!

Jerry, congratulations for the the good cardiologist report.

Tom, thanks for the cartoon. it is so true for me, too. That is one long trip you are planning.

Larry, good luck with the tax man.

Karl, the weather map doesn't look good up there, wishing you warm dry air... BTW, the battery issue was probably sun spots

Ron, hope your trip home was uneventful. The chores do stack up this time of year.

Louis, congrats on getting some bench time.

It's a rainy day in Georgia, but the boomers don't look to bad here, just rain. Unpacking progresses along with sore muscles and an aching back. Still looking for keys to cabinets and screws for a couple of hutches. An electrician comes today to add outlets in the pantry, laundry room, and back porch plus some lighting in the garage. Not much else but getting settled.

    Have fun and stay dry,
    mike

    Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and an assortment of cold sodas are ready for your enjoyment.

A chance of rain, mainly after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52.

Jerry, thanks for the warmth and more logs in the stove to keep it that for everyone else.
Great news from your Dr. and hopefully you'll get equally good news from your mechanic today.

Tom, I need my coffee first thing in the morning.
Actually it's the second, I have a glass of water first.
    Coming to NYC?

Larry, I figured you played around with different configurations.
Thought I'd just throw it out there.
Hope then grocery shopping wasn't too taxing.

Karl, I might have to start the mower sooner than a few weeks from now.

Mike, Philip, Louis, Ron, what say you?

    Have a great day everyone.
