    • Good morning Jerry and the rest of the crew that shows up later.

Thanks for the coffee Jerry, hope the ultrasound goes well.

Rick, will be in VA for 12-15 months as it stands now. While I will miss the modeling room, it will still be there when I get back unless the Mrs converts it into a craft room while I am gone. Not to worried about that as she has her craft room upstairs.

Spent last night priming the underside of the tractors and cleaning the rest of the flash off the castings for the steam engine while watching football.

      Have a great day everyone.

      • Good morning everyone.

A chance of showers, mainly before 9am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 47.

Jerry, thanks for the coffee and good luck with the ultrasound.

I'm still full from yesterday too, so we'll keep breakfast light with an assortment of muffins and bagels.

Hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday.
I had way too much to eat and enjoyed watching the Raiders win.

Got to get ready for a bike ride now.
At noon meeting up with my brother and some friends for another round of stout tastings and more food.

        Have a great day everyone.
Follow along as my dog and I travel the country in our van.

        • Morning Gents,

Jerry thanks for the coffee. Hope you ultrasound goes well with a good outcome.

Ron that's a long time to be away from home let alone the modeling room.

Rick I think we're all still full from yesterday; now it's leftover time the next few days.
Hmm....101 ways to recook Turkey? Enjoy your afternoon of adult beverage and food.
There may be a much longer bike ride in your future to work off the extra food.

The rest of the Crew hope your day goes well.

A rainy 36 this am with a high of only 39 here in New York. Well after two days of prep and
cooking today is going to be a R&R day with a generous amount of bench time thrown in for
          good measure.

Have a great day everyone. Be safe, stay warm, and be healthy.

          • Black Friday is here. Cold and clouds. Temp went from 44 in the late morning to driving home in the snow yesterday, little stuck but it’s 20 this morning

We had a nice visit with family and two nice meals. It was good to see everyone.

The Doll has some things to do at the antique store today and I’ll work on some project or another here.

I hope everyone has a quiet and safe day.

            Be well.

            • Good morning Jerry, Ron, Rick, Larry, Karl, and all in coming crew. Thanks for opening the lounge Jerry for our daily cup of brew and a chat to start the day off.

Its raining, with cloud cover, but 44 degrees today in Rhode Island. So that is better than the 39-40 degree weather we had.

Yesterday was a very good easy and relaxing day for the wife and I, and I hope you all had the same experience.

I've got some more work on the vacuum car project, so I guess today is a good inside day for that.

Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. See you all on the Forum.

              • Good morning everyone.

Coffee, hot water for tea and an assortment of cold sodas are ready for your enjoyment.

Sunny, with a high near 42.

Sounds like everyone had a relaxing day yesterday.
Hope the turkey hangover is better today.

Larry, I'd have to ride non-stop till Friday to work off all the extra food.

                Already did a bike ride.
Breakfast and then a few chores before going to work.

                Have a great day everyone.

34 degrees and sunny here in Rhode Island this morning. Talking about maybe our first sign of snow this evening into tomorrow.
I'll be doing some more work on my vacuum car today.

                  • Cloudy and impending snow is the default here today, 1-3 inches, ‘they’ say. Should make for great football, yeah right. It’s in the 20s. Radar shows the snow but I don’t see it out the window.

Time to get a bite then fluff up the nest and find a comfortable spot to sit.

Drilled some hand rail holes on the loco project. Maybe bend some wire for then later. I don’t have any premade ones.

Looking forward to the next episode of Lou’s Big Suck project. It sort of reminds me of the MRC magazine cover from ~50 years ago where someone made a “Vest pocket UP Turbine” out of one of those MDC box cab units and a small vandy tender. I still may have that issue somewhere deep in the dumpster stuff somewhere.

                    Have a fine day everyone!

                    • Good morning Rick, Louis, Karl and who may show up this morning.

                      Thanks for the coffee Rick.

Was a little cool walking with Gracie as it was a brisk -6C (21F), but it was sunny so it was a nice walk.

Started assembling the steam engine last night, will continue assembly tonight.

                      Have a great day everyone.

                      • Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee. Yup holidays tends to put a few extra pounds on people. Then on
                        1/1 it's diet time.

Louis enjoy your "vacuum project"; sounds like a god day for it. If that's the first snow consider
yourself fortunate; we had about three of those "lovely treats" already.

Karl enjoy the FB and the "fluffy nest". Hopefully the white stuff will pass you on by.

The rest of the Crew have a wonderful day.

A brisk 28 this morning with a high of 34 here in New York. May hit the bench this morning while
it warms up some, then it's outside to put the plastic on the back porch which keeps most of
the snow off during the next few months. Then it's a matter of putting up the Christmas lights
after that; although that may not happen today.

Have a great day everyone. Stay warm, be safe, and stay healthy.

                          Rick thanks for the coffee.

I put on a fresh pot in case someone else shows up.

Running late today. Company showing up.
Diane's youngest son and his family coming down to take me out for my birthday!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

                          • Morning everyone

Coffee is on with water for the tea guys and cold sodas!

Pancakes with butter & Vermont Maple syrup. Sides of bacon and sausage!

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/31. Later on rain/snow 51. Just how the hell does it snow at 51, Weenies must be on the bottle again!!

                            Nothing from the bench.

But hey all the decorations are done and the Christmas spirit must be out there somewhere.

                            • Happy Birthday Jerry!
It's all white outside with a healthy post football celebratory morning, it was quite a Snow-bowl in E. Lansing last evening, the boys club in A2 did an excellent job as well.

There is a 3-4 inch snowfall on the ground outside, I may have to look into moving some of it later in the day. There are no plans, that I am aware of, to go anyplace today. We went and stocked up on a few things yesterday. Temp here was 20s all day yesterday and a touch warmer today but still grey.

                              Everyone have a fine day..

Jerry, no mention of the s word in the forecast I saw.
Thanks for the coffee and breakfast and hope you enjoyed your birthday dinner.

Larry, did you get all the lights up?

Ron, hope the assembly is going well.

Karl, the s@#$ shouldn't be a problem for you with that big green monster of yours.
Your green team did well yesterday as did the blue team.

Louis, hope the s@#$ didn't materialize.

Philip, Tom and Mike, hope you're all doing well.

Lots of kids coming back to school after the holiday.
Had a road crew swap out our two MU's for another set at the end of our night.
                                Dog walk in a bit.
Football on the back porch combined with a cigar and a stout or two.
