    • As outhouses go that's pretty stylish.

          • Thanks for the comments Jerry, Larry, Scott, Rick, Michael, Mike and Philip, they are very much appreciated.

After some time from being away from the bench, I finally have come progress to report.

The outhouse has a roof, and siding on the walls.

I hear that there has been some complaints to management about the lack of privacy, so I guess the next stem is building a door.

            Thanks for looking in everyone.

            • Yep a door to contain the fumes should be in order. Nice work!

              • Ron,

Speaking of fumes, perhaps the door should be propped open for an airing out between visits. That way we could see the nifty interior.

                    • Ron nice looking outhouse, if there is such a thing. Yup you need a door like the old song says "Swinging on the outhouse door".
                      Good job!!

                              • That's a really top notch 'crapper'. I built one for the BCRR, and put a paper hinge on the door and mounted it so one could open it and see inside if one was really curious. The reactions to seeing a little man seated with his jeans down below the knee looking back at you while making a 'bombing run', or 'dropping a deuce' (for you french men) was actually quite fun in a juvenile sort of way. I really like it Ron. You've done it again!
