Guys, im using chrome. and for the most part only use chrome, so i guess that is the only browser i can comment on . I log into chrome (google) on every device i use so it remembers my user / password across every device i have not had to log into the forum since we had those pesky 403 errors ( hope i didn't jinx myself ) the newer browsers seem to have 2 options . either you log in to the browser itself or you use it as a guest that may be the reason that you have to repeatably log in. Other reasons may be that you have your browser set to clear all your browsing info upon exit .. or you have autofill turned off..

subscriptions, i would think that if you were able to have your password reset OR forum activation sent to your email address, subscriptions should work . our server may be blocked by some services.. due to various configuration issues. although im not sure why. i have heard of a couple members actually emailing me directly and i did not receive anything from them.. my internet connection is Verizon and my email services are hosted on O365 so everything should be legit.

James, thanks for the tip on the "remember me box." Seems to be working, now all I need to know is whether "subscribed" means I am supposed to get email notice when someone posts ( like it was in old forum).

I found that while I thought I needed to log in every day as the forum home page gave every appearance of that condition even after checking off the "Remember Me" box, that was not true.

Even showing that I needed to sign in, I actually was already signed in and able to respond to posts. Once I responded to a post, then the forum header changed to indicate that I was signed in.

Have you tried checking the Remember Me box when you log in? That's kept me logged in for more than a week.
