  • Sunday Morning Lounge

Good morning! Coffee is made. This morning it's bagels, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, crispy bacon, and a big pot of oatmeal. Enjoy.

It's a lovely, cool day here in northern WV, but it's going to heat up. I'll mow the back lawn before it's too warm, putter around inside some, after I've had a couple cups of coffee. Nothing strenuous planned today. Last night was a ghost tour of historic Beverly, WV, first settled in the 1750's. Makes me feel young.

    Have a great day.

    Mike

Morning Mike and incoming crew. Thanks for opening. Already working on my second cup.

Last full day at the River. Todays project is to get the branches of the roof that have broke off the trees off the roof. A majority of them are Ash trees and with the Ash Borer killing the trees the smaller branches are breaking off, plus all the leaves that have fallen.

    Have a great day everybody.

Good morning Mike, Bernd and all incoming crew. Thanks for opening the lounge this morning Mike, there is nothing better than a chat and a cup of brew to start the day.
It is 60 degrees and cloudy here in Rhode Island. I'll most likely do some work on my camp split store. It keeps calling out to be worked on.
Everyone have a great, safe and healthy day ahead. I'll see you all on the Forum.

More rain in the night has passed and the sun is shining bright "They" say 80 tops today.

The Doll has 12 yr old grandson coming today, daughter's birthday so we get to supervise, computer gadget and blankie....

No plans, but I'll find something. Thanks for the opening. SPARTAN smiles here today, and a glow from the Aggies rolling the Tide last night

Good morning, all. The NH seacoast is overcast with the prospect of showers, around 60F right now. I've done my two clinics for Mill City 21, now I have two operating sessions to host. So a glance around the forum and back to cleaning wheels, track and the layout area in general.

Good morning Crew and Mike thanks for opening. I will have a diet Dr. Pepper and eat later. For those not eating Mike’s great breakfast the Crew Van has the keys in it to head to a eatery of your place.

drive safely and maybe kind of slow

Another wet wake up morning in Wisconsin with temperatures heading into the 80’s. For Terry and I, another UW Women’s hockey game at 2 with a win expected. A 6-0 win yesterday. Another early dinner out after.

            Enjoy the day

Good morning, Mike and crew. We're having off and on rain showers today. I have a burned out headlight to replace. So, I've got to squeeze it in between showers.

I just finished watching an exciting F1 race. I'm getting back into following the sport.

              Have a good day.

Good evening. I'm back from 3 days at NMRA NER convention, lots of good clinics. This afternoon's were particularly interesting, one on tuning up brass steam, and the other on scratchbuilding same. I learned Lots of stuff. And I came home with 3 things from the raffle, the 2 things I really wanted ("rubber rocks" for my corner quarry and a package of ReBoxx wheelsets) and one thing I threw a ticket into because I thought they'd be interesting to watch (DVDs).
